Just to clarify a bit further, a reason why some may add a bit of E85 and fill the rest up with pump fuel is because some states (west coast) only allow 91 octane at the pump. The idea is to bring it around 93 octane, which is what the power rating from the manufacturer is based on.
Shouldn't have overfilled unless you continued to top off after the pump clicked.
Since you mentioned Toyota replaced the fuel pump, it might be worthwhile to bring it in to them and have them listen to it.
