  1. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

Thanks for sharing set up. I am interested in what everyone thinks is best on toe. I have been running about 1/8th total toe out in front and then 1/8th total toe in, in rear. I have tried 0 in front but slight toe out seems to help on turn in and minimize understeer in the off camber tight...

I think there is always a trade off on straight line braking and then with a lot if neg camber you are using more of inside edge under braking so best i can tell is rear likes about -2.5 to 2.6 and fronts up in the high -3.0’s to 4.0 hence why i am interested in what everyone is trying. But even...

What is your alignment set up. Did this cord on rear. I have had a few sets do this as well so interest in neg camber settings.

Try going to softest setting on front sway bar a 200 treadwear tire and use all the track on exit.

I ran apex on stock set up for over a year with camber up to around -3. With a sport spring camber plates and all the adjustable control arms. No rubbing and no spacers. 275/35/18 tires. Yes the bigger stock/sport springs are closer on clearance and a 285 tire may rub if you have a lot of...

Please let us know your tire test as Nasa tt folks are waiting to see what tire group they will put this one in as well. Based on feedback from the track day tire team they indicated this is slower than the R7 but not by much. So that would be a pretty fast tire that you can also drive to track.
  9. Rear axle subframe bolted directly to body? (Like M’s and 911’s?) ?

My car is a dedicated track car and changing to solid mounts just added more to the noises etc. if you want a street friendly feeling you may not want to do this. You definitely feel more drive train vibrations and sharp edges to the bumps. It is still drivable on the street however not for...

I also start on maxxis at 26 to 27. They tend to roll the outside edges faster so i have been running them at 34 to 35 hot. Ar1 can go to 32/34 hot. P zero slicks. Start at 21 and adjust hot at 30.
  11. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

That is where i ended up on rear as well as there is a trade off with stopping and getting the drive off the corners. Front ended up at about - 3.5 with slight tow out for a little more turn in. And -2.6. In rear with a slight tow in. I have been running full P zero slicks in TT and then Maxxis...

Where did you end up on the rear with -4 in the front.
  13. Rear axle subframe bolted directly to body? (Like M’s and 911’s?) ?

I went to solid ones. But they are not easy to change. Here are a few pics.
  14. How much do I need to detune?

Is this for a tt class. As 3.0 cars right out of the box usually fit in tt3 depending on tire choice. What class are you trying to run in ?

18x10 apex wheels work well as a square set up. They fit with no spacers, you have a lot of tire options for 275/35/18 and is plenty of grip with right aero/ camber/ tow/ setup. I actual run 265 wide P zero slicks on them as well and there is plenty of grip even being a little narrower. So not...

I am glad the discussions are including temp ranges. My fronts operate in the 1400 + range and rears 1000 to 1200 range. Heat painting rotor helps figure out what level pads you need.
  18. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

Apex 18x10 fit with no spacers and also fit big brake kits. 275/35/18 work well with no rubbing.
