This is my thought. But how.... how did it survive not only normal around town driving but a 2,000 mile, beating the hell out of it on the Tail of the Dragon?!
Hey all,
Bought my brand new 24 Nocturnal 3.0 Premium back in March of this year. Have only done a couple of exterior cosmetic mods up until now. I'm the only one whose ever touched those car except for the dealer when the car was dropped off before I bought it.
Fast forward 6 months and 3,100...
I wish, was just up in Helen last weekend for Oktoberfest. And then maybe heading to Barber to race the s2000 if the shop finishes. So much driving! (Live in Orlando area)
Seems like the 24s don't have to worry about this? I haven't been notified or anything. Also to everyone else about the loss of coding out auto start/stop the only 2 ways around it now (24s came with this issue) is code in start in Sport like said above or buying and running the xHP TCU tune...
All of the 2024s (and updated prior models) now are locked with being unable to code out the auto start/stop function. Like said above, the only way to do it so code the car to start in Sport or buy and flash the xHP TCU tune. Can confirm this works on my '24.

Wow, reading stuff like this makes me realize how lucky I was to get my 24. I happen to bump into someone, who knew someone, who knew someone, who knew the head of Toyota Sales. Who then made a phone call and had Toyota/BMW build my exact car to my request and shipped here. No deposit, no...
Still under warranty. 3k miles and only 6 months old. I just hate taking my cars to shops. Never trust them to treat the car like how I treat my cars. Thanks for the advice ?
I'll take some wadding out but I'm afraid you may be right. Reading more about how the driver side woofers are a known problem on these cars and Toyota won't do anything about it. It really just sounds like the speaker is bottoming out, or like you're in a 1999 Camry whose speakers are so old...
How much wadding are you guys putting in the "box"? Dont know if the wadding should be packed super tight or just be a little bit in there.
After I did it my left rear sub sounds like it's blown. Even had half or less volume with the OP's sound settings. When I turn Surround off, it's...
