Inline 6! Not v6. Welcome to the Supra gang, its such a great car and WAY more rare than a C8. AA catted downpipe, and tune and honestly it's perfect like that. Enjoy brother!
My 24 showed up at the dealer with 7 miles on it. I went in, signed the paperwork and came back the day after and it had 12 miles on it. Shop programmed it and took it down to the gas station and put a full tank of 93 in for me. 50 miles seems crazy high
Amazing car control. No harm no foul there. T4 can bite HARD. That whole track is fast. Out of all the track is I've done all around the country (around 160 track days total) T3 at Roebling is the only one that gives me the "uh oh" feeling. Zero room for error if it walks at 110mph.
I love Roebling. Haven't been back since I did the TT4 record 2 years ago. Roebling looks easy on paper but it's way more technical in person. My moto for RRR is, "It's easy to drive but hard to drive fast."
Hey that's my friend Alex's car! I was paddocked next to him in the garages and hung out with him all weekend. What a freaking great drive by him. I just wish I could solve my mysterious misfire so I could reset the TT4 record.
I promised the wife I wouldn't turn the Supra into a track slut for...
It's better than most other cars. I have my race s2000 so I come from an incredibly light, nimble and not big HP chassis.
I also love my Supra. It's more like a fancy sledge hammer/knife combo while the s2000 is my fine tuned scalpel. Some tracks reward that extra light nimbleness. Some like...
Of course its fast at Limerock. Its still a fast car, thats not what I'm saying. Some slower cars can do just as good as much faster cars at certain tracks. Take Roebling for example.
Not starting an argument here. Just my experienced racing background. Carry on.
Supra has amazing torque and power. Does really great at your Sebrings, Road America, Daytona, COTA, VIR, etc. Barber doesn't have any long straights to really wind out the B58 over and over. Barber cares more about aero/suspension and tires than power.
Barber is amazing. Really difficult to drive fast. And definitely not a Supra track. But the facilities are immaculate and the museum is a great time too. Would highly recommend it.
Jesus thats a lot of snow! The red s2k is part of our group. J swapped making nearly 300whp. If I can get my car to actually work again it runs in the low 21s. So you can I could have some fun except you'll blow my doors off in the straights lol. I only make a measly 250whp. But I'm maxed out...
No Supra for me last weekend. Thats our fun street car for now. I was in my racecar s2000 that I'm still chasing misfire issues on. So thats why you wouldn't have noticed me. Was parked in garage 1959 too!! Both my students had GR86s last weekend too.
Db meter but wouldn't show me. So they said I had to go. There were 2 other cars much louder than mine. I remember one of them being an old MR2. Oh well. I never did another autox again and started tracking. Quite happy it all went that way!
I just watched this and realized where this was. I got banned years ago from Martin Sports Car Club at this location for my s2000 having too loud of an exhaust (it was loud but not as loud as some of the officials there who didn't get in trouble). Its a terribly shaped and size venue but there...
I loved my 2002 RSX Type S but this sounds like another money grab move from Honda (like the Prelude to). It won't have the same soul if its EV or hybrid. RIP RSX
Absolutely incredible. Great job man. And here ai thought I did great with getting my specific model built for me personally, having it 15 miles from home and at MSRP with no add ons. Love hearing those stories!
