Amen ?? to that… She even washed it as soon as we got home (kid you not). She actually likes to clean the cars ?. Another good track buddy‘s @F348 wife comes to most of his events to tailgate & make us all food ?. We don’t really cook, so that’s mega ?. We’re all blessed in so many different ways my brother!

Funny true story…. Many moons ago, I purposefully asked (nicer way to say tricked my wife?) a really good female driver, Maria Hicks (from Chin MS), to take her out for a ride. Maria showed her & explained how women drive smoother & men drive like animals ?. Which in general, she’s right. I told Maria I was trying to get her into it. She loved it & been driving ever since.

To keep with the theme of the thread, some proud hubby pics….
(back when she 1st started driving - at a UFC fight - and a car pic)

Thx man! I hear it a lot ? Even though those pics are old, like me now, lol, I got lucky 4sho. Poor kid moved down from IN to my hometown after graduating HS. Shy & didn’t know a soul. Worked at the same dept store. Great timing to take advantage make sure she felt welcome… ?

I was there all weekend and saw this car!
Dude!!!!!! Where’s your car pics? What day & group did you drive In? I always try to meet all the other Supra peeps out there. Sorry I missed ya!

Friday was wide open & a blast. Saturday…. I gotta give those track workers credit for towing so many cars off quickly & safely. It wasn’t just in one area either. I think every single flag worker got a workout as well. Sunday was wide open thx to the rain storm I suppose. I‘d rather be in that than the Saturday bog down. But my old lady just wanted one day & we picked that day. Ended up leaving early when it got so bad they had to black flag the session she was in. Jim (the guy that runs it) did a great job trying to get people back out there after that but we already packed it up.

My daughter‘s fiancé got to ride in this guy’s ride. It was sweet!!!! Really nice guy. Asked me if I wanted to drive it. All I could think of was the dollar signs if something went wrong (without him in there) ?

A friend was behind him. Drove like a bat outta hell ? ?. Worth a watch. Such a great driver (guy driving the BMW)?

No Supra for me last weekend. Thats our fun street car for now. I was in my racecar s2000 that I'm still chasing misfire issues on. So thats why you wouldn't have noticed me. Was parked in garage 1959 too!! Both my students had GR86s last weekend too.

Badass!!!!! There was a red S2K on the other side of the wall, next to me ? I used to have a red one all gutted out with Sick Sideways (back when they were still around). Such fun track cars!!!!! If you’re going to be at the next Feb Chin weekend at Sebring, would love trying to keep up with ya. I’m gonna try & get a few laps in the 2:22s or less this next time out.

The guy in the BMW video above is in a comparable power to weight car and giving me some pointers. So we’ll see. I’m getting a few widgets fixed in the Supra & feeling more confident. The S2K was like wearing a glove. Not a fair comparison being that she was a dedicated track car. But still, this Supra is more fun to drive than I ever imagined.

Pic of a buddy’s Supra in Pensacola Florida. Hopefully it’ll be better today for the folks driving this weekend in Sebring and Daytona. Heard there was a bad wreck in Daytona yesterday.

Jesus thats a lot of snow! The red s2k is part of our group. J swapped making nearly 300whp. If I can get my car to actually work again it runs in the low 21s. So you can I could have some fun except you'll blow my doors off in the straights lol. I only make a measly 250whp. But I'm maxed out for my class.

Fresh from the driver’s seat of the Supra it’s good to know others are driving cars of excess!

That Ford Fusion literally broke my neck!

Every day I ask myself these questions when I drive…

When did apple start making the RAV4 and was the decal added intentionally crooked?

IMG_0626.jpg

When was the last time you washed your car and why add custom hubcaps if you don’t care about your car?

IMG_0625.jpg

These pics were taken directly to my left and in front at the same light. I can’t be the only one who drives around thinking these questions… Maybe I am?

I just got mine a couple of weeks ago and I'm still learning the ins & outs of making it right for me. Using the BimmerCode made a huge difference. And I just added the wind deflectors that fit the A-pillar behind the door mirrors (not on in this photo). I had little hope they would really do the job of reducing the buffeting inside the car when the windows are down. But much to my surprise, they reduced it by about 80% or more! Hard to believe Toyota hasn't built this tiny change into the car.

I used to live on the far north side of Columbus, OH (not far from you) and I raced SCCA at MidOhio (a lot) as well as other mid-west tracks.
