Hahaha. Maybe but I'm not there yet. I just posted it on the forum and I'm getting calls from local Toyota dealerships inquiring and talking to them as well.
Thanks. You can always get it shipped. Pretty common now a days. I had my Tacoma a couple years ago shipped from West Virginia to California for a little under a $1,000. Took about 5-6 business days for my truck to arrive, but much cheaper than going through a broker or 3rd party.
Thank you. It's been garage kept and babied the two years I've had it. Literally in immaculate condition. I literally can't think of a time I ever parked it outside overnight since it's always been garage kept. I babied it thinking I would keep it forever, but sometimes things change.
I think we lived similar stories lol. Those Manual Accords are legends. Ours was so reliable that we ended up giving it to my father as a hand me down since he raised me on manuals and refuses to buy automatic. The old man is stubborn lol.
Don’t get me wrong, my wife loves the MKV as well. She was raised driving manual and when we met she was driving a Honda Accord manual. I let her drive it a couple times and she said it’s the best 6MT she’s ever driven. It’s also the mental thing of investing rather than putting in a car. Maybe...
Kind of. Turning 40 recently also messed with my head a lot. I need to save for retirement in the next 20-30 years or invest in some opportunities. The wife has let me get away with soo much the last 12 years and maybe a little compromise can be healthy. Amazing car and a part of me hopes I...
I have a 2023 A91 CU Later gray that I am looking to sell original owner. It has been garaged and babied so much my little kids are scared to walk anywhere near the car knowing daddy could get mad lol. Odometer sitting at 7,933 miles. Ppf and ceramic coated immediately when it left the...
No need to apologize. I’m just gonna say something real quick as a father of 7 and 5 year old boys who finally realized this now rather than 10 years later when it’s too late. We are our kid’s first role models and likely who they will grow up to be like and/or look for in a partner to date or...
I live in Orange County, Ca. Neighbors who bought the house across the street from me are YouTube content creators who make kid videos with their kids. They have millions of subscribers and make a good mid six figure living and are in their early 30’s and they, their family, parents, relatives...
Exactly. And I don’t know if it’s in the next 10 years or maybe 15-20 years but it’s inevitable. The kids right now and next generation won’t care at all about car culture like we do and the prior generation did. It’s going to be very niche if it even at all exists. The other thing which someone...
Sorry to revive an old thread but this is mostly true about the younger generation. A lot of younger kids didn’t grow up with car enthusiast dads or weren’t around cars like the prior generation. They car about simple and point a to point b which is why everyone and their mom’s had a Tesla...
There were rumors swirling that the MKVI would be powered by the GR Corolla’s engine or something similar with a hybrid variant. We are entering a new generation of automobiles and emissions I highly doubt the MKVI will have a 6 cylinder
Maybe it’s all in my head but after the cdv delete at 4k miles and now shy of 7k miles, I feel like the car has gotten better as far as clutch and fun factor. I don’t know if it’s broken in more or I have been broken in more as a driver to this car and familiarity. Nonetheless, it always put a...
