They don't push innovation because people love Toyota (bmw I know) and the fanbase will buy regardless. Toyota has been doing this for years now. Look at the new GR Corolla interior. More basic than my mom's 2008 Corolla.
You know what though? After driving this bad boy the past few months, my next car I'd like for it to see the track and maybe go automatic in the future. Not enough places in "Mexico" to drive as fast as the Supra begs to be driven. Too many cops in Southern California. The track is likely where...
Here we go. Ok "drastically". I ain't out here clocking my 0-60 times racing. I will never see the track or drag strip otherwise I would have gotten automatic. Do you ?
Everyone just needs to relax. I don't drive around thinking I'm better than the automatic Supra drivers. It's all personal preference. I'll tell you what though, those smiles per gallon are priceless shifting my own gears even if the manual technically is slower than the automatic. As I'm sure...
People still going on with this thread? Automatic as your daily or to race and be faster. Manual if you like the traditional feel of shifting your own gears.
Not trying to revive a thread a couple months old, but I'm curious. Why not just go with a VRSF 200 cell high flow catted downpipe? Wouldn't that be the closest thing to catless? I'm on an oem cat still with an ARK DTS full exhaust and debating if I should pick up a VRSF catted downpipe rather...
Good point. Why pay the high AA downpipe price if the person is going MHD or BM3 to get rid of the check engine light. Is there a highly recommended 200 cell downpipe?
Both are excellent. Am I 0.4 seconds or what ever slower than the automatic? Sure. I didn't buy my car to drag race. I bought it for my own enjoyment and engagement. I've said it before: If you want to build your car to drag race or race all Hellcats, Chargers and Mustangs that pull up to you on...
Same issue I have been having with my 2023 6MT. You now have me thinking about doing this as well. On our 6MTs, what do you think is the max HP or TQ you think we should be pushing before upgrading the stock clutch? 500-550HP?
That problem with new colors is the car starts looking dated soon. Brooklyn Grey is the most recent BMW color I remember staying fresh for longer. Toyota also had a cement Grey on the 3rd Gen Tacoma which stayed fresh for a while then eventually started to look dated. Only time will tell how...
Is it the best choice even though MST is 6" and MST also claims No CEL? I think AA although tried and true is in that proven category. Doesn't mean something as good or better won't come along, but so many people run AA that it's hard to second guess them. I think this MST with more reviews...
