My tag reg renewal is due next month. In the renewal it states, 1997-2018 has to have emissions test which is the norm - anything beyond 2years needs emissions. So for 2022 it's 1998-2019 MY vehicles. Nothing new here..
Have you checked to see that the valve on the passenger side is opening up? Granted I'm running a DP and have my valve open 100% of the time (BMW module), I haven't noticed anything out of the norm.
I had to submit a rom file (ECU dump) to my tuner as the new cal id isn't supported by ecutek yet. It will be the normal bench unlock process and then load in my tune from there.
Couldn't find actual torque specs but in searching for the black plastic collar on my new sensors I came across this:
"The valve stems are the updated versions, no spacer ring required/you just have to keep tightening the collar nut/eventually break loose and thread together"
Picked up new OEM TPMS sensors (42607-WAA02) for my new wheels and noticed that they do not have a washer (part D in the reference pic below) like I've seen on other sensors. Are BMW sensors different or did I order the wrong part?
Thanks,
Bryan
Figured we would have to reload our tunes + have to go through the bench unlock again. I'm more interested in seeing if any changes via Bimmercode remain or if we have to recode everything.
