Price point the Toyota will be more expensive and performance wise.. I don’t see Nissan not offering a Supra killer at a bargain. Even though it maybe super easy to kill the new Supra. Lol

It’s seems that the rumors are accurate.. R35 will go through a substantial facelift/refresh to keep things fresh. Not sure if they’ll call it R36 etc.
I just hope they up the ante with the new Z car... that’s the car Toyota needs to look out for.
And the Supra is obsolete upon arrival...

RIP unborn Supra MKV
That’s not M3/4 beating power out of the box. Unless the power under the curve is tremendous with that Toyota version of the B58. Which I highly doubt.. so but purely going by the peak HP figures the price point, weight and output will result in a failure project.
By no means I meant to come across rude.. just talking cars. GenVs are slightly different and SRT ensures to fix everything that was asked by owners of older generation and driving/owning one I can attest to that. It’s an amazing machine that’s well behaved and fast at the same time.
Dealers...
A) I really doubt this Supra will have M3 killing power
B) it may handle as well but yet TBD
C) Initially the talks were that the Z4 would be GT car.. but press releases from BMW says they wanted a pure sports car that you’d take out on a Sunday morning and pound the pavement. So I really don’t...
Take a look at the proportion of the wheelbase to the overhangs and come back. Short wheel base / large overhangs vs. longer wheelbase / the same mkV overhangs. Very different look. Plus.. you are showing an 03 Viper .. smh. This car is supposed to be 20yrs newer.
C7:
106.7 inched vs. 97.2...
I do like this.. hopefully it does look like this. But for me.. a manual is a must so im hoping to fill the Internet with love for a manual mkV so toyota gets the point. Hehe
Being secretive could be taken in
A) let’s blow the brains out of the market when we officially unveil the car. It could back fire like the way it did for Honda with NSX. Too late too expensive too complicated. This car maybe.. too heavy, mediocre power and too expensive.
B) crap.. I think...
Agree with ya.. enjoy nimble little cars and not into big power myself. Enjoy the ND Miata a lot and for 2019 they’ve got more power at around 180hp. I’m more thrilled about that than 797hp for this Hellcat. On the other hand.. I’m more a NA lover (H/C GenV Viper and GT350) these days but...
FCA just introduced the 797hp Hellcat.. it may not be the chisel that Toyota claims to be slowly building but who on earth doesn’t like a damn hammer???
