Has anyone installed a downpipe or JB4 tuner chip on the Supra 2.0? Please share product links and any data on the gains. I'd appreciate the same info for intake options.
  2. Anyone else keeping their Supra bone stock?

Same here. Im' pretty sure I'd mess up the front end in no time if I drop it! Though I am getting the roof wrapped tomorrow, glossy black.

    THANKS!! Super useful.
  4. Really annoying water pocket / Water pooling on hatch

Dude effing seriously! I washed my car today and as I was driving home, I kept seeing water flying out of the side mirrors and right along the side and rear hips of my freshly washed car. I may let the mirrors fold in and take a blow dryer to that area to get the excess water out next time...

Can you share your $9 fix?
  6. What did you do to your Supra today?

What brand are your floor mats? Is that the GR Supra logo?
  7. Really annoying water pocket / Water pooling on hatch

How about the side mirrors, there's an endless supply of water that keeps draining after every car wash! I dry them up, use the air compressor and those mirror still produce water from somewhere. Even after driving for miles there's still water messing up my clean doors
  8. How can I safely add 30-50hp to my 2.0?

Really? The Supra 2.0 sure feels torquey but I thought the Stinger was too. I feel I'm on the same boat. Actually, I don't care about the warranty per say, where I was going is that I don't want to brow the engine if something goes sideways while not having an eye for the reg flags. So I will...

  13. How can I safely add 30-50hp to my 2.0?

Thanks for sharing that. I checked with Burger Motorsports and you are right, the JB4 does not need an unlock. I may go with this option.:D
  14. How can I safely add 30-50hp to my 2.0?

Yep, I have a lot of reading to do for sure. Was hoping to find good reads specifically on the 2.0. I guess I'm okay voiding the warranty. But not to the point where it's unsafe or have issues passing emissions.
  15. How can I safely add 30-50hp to my 2.0?

I will be using my 2.0 as daily drive. I'd love it if I can get a bit more hp than stock but don't want to run into any issues with the car, void the warranty, nor strain the engine past its limit. I won't be taking it to the track ever and won't be racing (other then occasional stepping on it...

  17. Function Werk 2.0L Supra Catless Down-Pipe

Did you have any issues with the check engine light after installing the dp? If you did, any workaround? Are there any issues passion omissions inspections in the future? Some people also reported weird smells with a catless dp, did you notice that?

Ah, okay cool. Thanks for pointing that out
  19. Function Werk 2.0L Supra Catless Down-Pipe

Thanks. Have you seen this article claiming the 2.0 runs at 330hp stock? In my opinion, the 2.0 does feel like at least 300hp stock. https://afepower.com/down-pipe
  20. Function Werk 2.0L Supra Catless Down-Pipe

I test drove the 3.0 before I purchased the 2.0. I'd say the difference in power (feel) is very minor. The 2.0 is EXTREMELY fun to drive. Ridiculously fun. I turned off the traction control yesterday for the first time and it was too much fun, I was laughing hysterically. Having said that, I...
