I have a couple of queries if anyone can help. 1) What are the terms regarding changing your mind post $4k deposit. 2) If you went with your second choice color and then someone cancels with your first choice color, do the actively contact people or does that vehicle go back into the 'pool'...
I am still trying to justify the price to myself..... Then I have to convince myself I can afford it. :) Brakes don't really matter too much to me, as this will be my daily and a bit of street fun, and i am not sure the HUD etc is worth the extra $10k. I could put that $10k towards the recently...
Ohhhh Details. Thanks so much for sharing. But so many more questions, like how does one get to be invited as a 'Guest', and of course, pricing.
EDIT: In unrelated news, I now have the MyToyota App and an account for it.... :D
Other countries are receiving thier Supras and we don't still have a price. At least once the release the pricing and availability, I will be able to move on after I know for sure I 1) Can't afford it, and 2) Wouldn't be able to get one due to limited numbers anyway. Then I can just find...
I know, its really odd. Part of me wants to believe its because they are trying to work out how to get us the lowest price available. It could happen right. ;)
1) No idea. Apparently still to come
2) Not sure, but I googled it earlier this week and I thought Europe is getting the new 5year warranty, but I can't find it now, so maybe I imagined it?
3) The gearbox isn't BMW, so not the entire drive train ;)
EDIT: The UK Warranty is actually in a forum...
I have just had word from the dealer that customers will be placing orders direct onilne and the local dealers are just points of pickup. No details as to the how, when or where yet.
Of that 300 allocation there is talk only 100 will be by the end of the year. Toyota have also said they want them to go to 'enthusiests' (read above), but realistically without a ton of micromanagment by Toyota Australia that isn't posible. I am prepared to pay 70k-80k, but over that there...
I haven't heard anything else yet .Of the three dealers I contacted when I posted only one got back to me at all, and they didn't know anything yet, but told me they would let me know as soon as they heard anything.
80k to $100k.? This tells me two things. 1) They lied about wanting to have enthusiasts get the vehicles, and wanting to stop price gouging, 2) They are a little out of touch with what you can get for $100k in Australia.
Does anyone have any Australian price or availabilty details? I called a few dealerships and was told they will call me back when they have somthing. That was at the launch..... and from googling it appears there is no general information released yet.
