Just saw the kit you were talking about. Pretty much on stock fuel system on pump 93 you'll probably be limited to 500-550hp. Meth or port injection will get you more
Just started on my wheel stud and lugs conversion. Running the 14x1.25 to 14x1.5 conversion studs but not really feelin the lugs I picked out. What is everyone else using for conversion lugs?

After with studs
Bought a leftover 2020 in October and the car had sat on the lot since Sept 2019. At 1k miles I got the oil change reminder. Had the dealer perform the first oil change
I changed the oil again at 5k miles. Did a bunch of reading and found that the other B58 powered BMWs calls for LL01 or...
The factory ecu still has fail safes from blowing itself up. It will cut timing, boost, etc on it's own if it runs too lean. IMO, if you are flashing the ecu there is no need to let the JB4 manipulate the boost pressure.
Even if the ECU date is good, that ECU may require a bench unlock. Going thru the same with one of my buddies. His date on the sticker is 01-30-20 but BM3 is giving him the error stating it needs a bench unlock. $300 from Titan and a 2hr trip to do it.
the Ecutek license and bt piece is roughly $800. I’ve seen tunes depending setup from 300-800 You can get Ecutek with an OTS map for roughly $1100, higher if you want flex fuel. I was in the same predicament and did a piggyback and then over to Ecutek. I’d encourage you to go straight to a flash...
Unless you’re worried about warranty I would go straight to Ecutek, especially if you’re flashing the Ecu. Doesn’t make sense to run a piggyback and then flash an Ecu. Upgrade the turbo and you can just have a tuner send another map.
My catted dp has a CEL fixed built in... I still got a code, in fact it kicked back a completely different code that the secondary o2 was reading too slow. Turned it off with a tune and it’s been fine.
