All the well known tuners offer their own OTS maps, Ecutek themselves do not. So if you already have the Ecutek license you can buy an OTS map from a tuner like Botti, Visconti, Twisted etc or they usually will package it up.
You can try with an o2 extender, but most likely you'll still get a CEL. JB4 cant change the ECU parameters so until you can tune it, you'll have to live with a CEL
i actually ended up buying a new leftover 2020 for $45.5k back in October. I ended up going to a full tune 60 days later and haven’t looked back. These cars are too much fun not to modify!
there are several Orlando members on FB and there is apparently a couple e85R pumps down there. There’s also an e85 Florida FB group and lots of guys test the e85 to make sure it’s good. I prefer using One Ethanol since that is what I tuned with but I have ran pump e85 just fine as well.
since...
Originally i bought the FF kit, but decided to use map switching instead. Im only using e50 for the track so I just blend the fuel and switch maps right from the cruise control switch. For what I use it for, it works best for me.
I know i've posted it before, but that is mine on the Dyno... But I am very impressed with how these car perform with just a tune and downpipe. Since were in Florida I would recommend going catless for the most power (im loosing quite a bit of tq catted). Honestly after seeing multiple OTS...
I want to say I saw the same info on the B58 FB page. Something about the length of the plugs is different and the champions being the cooler plugs. I've also heard some ppl using BMW i8 plugs. Have not confirmed what the difference is, but i am curious.
Jimmy... Alot of these well known tuners have it figured out. I run an OTS 93 tune and a custom e50 tune. After flashing the OTS tune I went to Real St and the Dyno numbers were right in line with what my tuner (Mikey Botti) quoted. It is all preference and price with most of the well known...
Most of the catless DPs arent going to make that much difference in HP. I went with Botti as well and pretty happy with the tune and support so far. Honestly I feel like you cant go wrong with most of the well known tuners like Justin (twisted tuning), Marin, Botti, Goosetuned and Visconti...
Skip the charge pipe, even tuned there not enough boost to cause a problem. If you’re worried about CEL buy one that guarantees no CEL. My cheaper catted dp still threw a CEL until I tuned it
Had my car tuned on e50 a few weeks back. I was told that the stock charge pipes is good for what my stock turbo is capable of. But if you really dead set on spending money, i've got a new in box set of CTS pipes i'll sell ya.
Even any of the catted high flow DPs will give you more volume. Im running the MXP and its a noticeable difference, but gets a CEL. Main thing to me would be how much you want to spend and finding one that wont get a CEL. The more expensive ones use a GESI cat and usually have better luck...
