  1. Anyone install a ScanGauge?

I have one from my now sold Mazda 3S GT and would like to install it in my Supra. For anyone who is not familiar with this, it is a code reader that doubles as a gauge showing 4 of 16 or more outputs from the OBD II. I typically would have it show voltage, air intake temp, coolant temp, and...
  2. Anyone see any orange 45th anniversary Supras on the road?

My wife is okay with my vehicle-cleaning hobbies. I enjoy listening to music in the garage while doing so. I would imagine that Toyota sends more Supras to higher over-all volume dealerships. I spoke to one Toyota salesman who told me they've (small family-owned dealership) received only three...
  3. Anyone see any orange 45th anniversary Supras on the road?

Thanks! The calipers should be easier to look clean. I can't image how that would be if we had yellow or orange ones.
  4. Anyone see any orange 45th anniversary Supras on the road?

Thanks for your feedback and reminder of track days, Mark. Too many things were setting off red flags with that dealership in Phoenix, Arizona. The local one's process was so much easier, anyway. Here I am with the sales guy, Marqus who convinced me to at least try to bring the cost down. I'm...
  5. Anyone see any orange 45th anniversary Supras on the road?

Now THAT'S a mod list! :thumbsup:Thanks for the reminder to get the wind buffet parts and the subwoofer mod. I will have PPF applied, next week.
  6. Anyone see any orange 45th anniversary Supras on the road?

Yes, it is often true that "He who hesitates is lost." I'm very glad I did not throw away that sudden offer.
  7. Anyone see any orange 45th anniversary Supras on the road?

Thanks, I feel as if I am driving an exotic car. I never thought I'd like orange, but my opinion changed when I saw it.
  8. Anyone see any orange 45th anniversary Supras on the road?

A tale of woe and happiness, all within 2 days: I thought I struck gold with a 2024 Blue Supra 3.0 Auto for MSRP at a dealership in Arizona. When I contacted them, a salesguy told me that they don't accept reservations, so I'd better fly there the next day. I told him that I couldn't fly there...
  9. Fleet vehicles - good, bad, in between?

Thanks for your thoughts, guys. I appreciate all input.
  10. Fleet vehicles - good, bad, in between?

I occasionally see a Supra that was a fleet vehicle. Do any of you know about these? Were they likely to be broken in properly? I'm looking at a 2022.
  11. Anyone see any orange 45th anniversary Supras on the road?

I just called a dealership that conveniently did not reveal their $5k ADM. Are you going to have to pay any ADM?
  12. Anybody recognize this weird noise?

Do you have a mechanic's stethoscope?
  13. Should I get an AT in the meantime?

    Keep looking and trying.
  14. Young Driver Insurance Cost, Crazy Rates.

I remember when insurance companies would reduce the cost when you hit 25 years of age. I bought a used 1968 Corvette convertible at age 21. Of course, no one warned me to check the insurance cost, first. Needless to say I was shocked that the annual amount was half the cost of the car for which...
  15. Got M2... May have regrets

Everyone has their own preferences, of course, but I always recommend comparing phone features, not just specs. The Samsung phones, like the Ultra 23 are almost always a few steps ahead of Apple phones. I use my stylus, frequently and would never buy another phone without one. I guess I've been...
  16. Still waiting... How long have you been waiting for your GR Supra allocation/order/update etc.?

I've noticed that there are a bunch of unreserved Mikan Blast Supras in Toyota's Supra search pages. White versions seem to be more popular. Now if only they had a yellow-green color in 45th edition or otherwise.
  17. Got M2... May have regrets

The problem is that BMW's "new stuff" is often problematic. Many Lotus buyers are opting for the Evora for that reason. The Evora has far more proven-reliable mechanical gauges and far fewer newly-designed electronics and software. New Emira owners are feeling the aggravation of those new...
  18. Got M2... May have regrets

Except for its harsher ride. The Supra is a better daily in that regard.
  19. Anyone see any orange 45th anniversary Supras on the road?

I just spoke to a local salesguy, today. He told me that the 45th editions will have a $6000 ADM. I then asked what the non-45th anniversary editions will have, and he replied, "$3000". They get a Supra about once every 3 months. 12 miles away, a different dealership charges $0 for non-45th cars.
