    Bingo. Some dealers have a non-negotiable corporate policy of NEVER selling anything for over MSRP, and they stick to it no matter what. Verification posted, scroll down. The others may be lying, but I'm not. I beg to differ.

    This!!!! Getting MSRP may mean going out of state to find the right dealer. Dealers selling at MSRP sell their allocations quickly while dealers with high markups don't. Hence the saturation of over priced cars.

    ...readily admit to paying over MSRP. There may also be people who said they are paying MSRP who are sitting on a waitlist while people willing to pay over MSRP jump the line. I know dealers for other makes that do allocations jerk the MSRP buyers around when there is more demand than allocations.

    I would expect to start seeing some soon that are not A91-MTs. Guessing Jan-Feb delivery time. With allocations going out in December. This is a very rough guess though and repeating what I've seen others say. So grain of salt.

    There are definitely some MSRP-only dealers getting A91-MT allocations, but I feel like since this is an enthusiast forum, there's some bias since members here are more likely to call 50+ dealers to get the best deal they can on a car. If I had to guess, I'm pretty sure less than 30% of A91-MT's...

    Last week I was able placed a deposit on a Grey A91 that is being allocated to a socal dealership. I did see a few in LA county that was available during my search with a 15-25k mark up. I haven't heard anything from dealerships stating they will reach out to me if there is another allocation...

    About a month ago, there was word that all of the allocations for A91-MT have been distributed in all regions. Not sure how much truth this holds, but I've not seen any unreserved in California that aren't marked up. Even 10k over allocations have been snatched.

    So they called me and said yes I was correct, but it seems this dealership get a lot of Supra allocations they said they sold 36 last year and they have sold 26 this year, so that’s why they said they could get me what I wanted in 2-6 months. The deposit is 100% refundable.

    Seriously. Price, Newark Toyota World, and Hertrich in Milford were all doubtful they would receive any. Koons in Annapolis and I think Brown's in MD might get some though

    well at least if you have a deposit with preference, they know what to look out for and if they can get the allocation, makes sense to me especially if they wanna sell.
