    Exactly my point. For Low volume, then why would they not accept refundable down payments if they're already being allocated whether an immediate customer wants it or not.     ...set on the purchase tell him you're ready to buy at MSRP as soon as one comes in. I got mine in about 2-3 months. I'd say 6 is a long time and that dealership either has a long wait list or they're a small dealership that barely gets allocations. Beaman is the largest Toyota dealer in the state.
