For you maybe, i will go for a test drive but I already know I won’t be buying it that same day. Knowing what I know about it so far, i’ll Wait for a slightly used one in the $30’s, that’s if I like it enough to own it. Or, I might just go with a Porsche and call it a day.
It will be slightly different but not much. Center console looks exactly the same, we already know it will use the same screen in the same location, everything tilted towards the driver. My guess is the vents will look slight different, steering wheel will look 100% the same and the radio setup...
It doesn’t have to be $100k. There are other cars out there in the $50-70k with great looks and performance. Toyota just needed to make a car that is great out of the box with aftermarket potential the A80 is known for to hit it out of the park. Instead they just figured they would use another...
I have owned BMW’s and Audi’s and never had any serious issues ever. I did however got out of them before the 70,000 mark just in case. Friends own German cars and haven’t had any issues.
Instant gratification? Not my generation. It’s been a long long time coming out with this car and we have zero from Toyota, zero! To each their own, lost the excitement for me.
Is it just me or is everyone else excitement level is way down about this car? Has Toyota waited too long? Personally I lost interest, it may be a great car but it’s taking forever to release any info to keep me interested. No info means there is not much there really to get excited about. If it...
Yeah, what is the holdup at this point, my excitement level is really low at this point. It went from must buy to maybe as a used car, we’ll see. Toyota needs to get their shit together.
I am saying that at the time they didn’t know what that sports car would be (size, power and so on) that’s why it said mid-size sports car. Then I added it seems a lot has changed since the initial announcement. We don’t know if the z4 and A90 we see today is the same idea (concept) that was...
It will be successful. It’s a no brainer for BMW and Toyota. Even with the decline in that segment each company got a car for half the price it would normally cost them (if it is to be believed they shared the costs 50/50). They can’t fail.
This is also why neither company truly cares about the...
Besides the few of us here no one will know or care.
The ball is in Toyota’s court and they don’t seem to care too much one way or another. Let’s wait and see...
