I fell for the hype and lost interest in the car within a few months. I was starting to have little issues that annoyed me. My car threw a chasis code which I found out the level arm came loose. My tpms light came on twice for an exterior message but went away on it's own. And a few times my car...
Not sure if I can post this here but I just sold my 21 Supra. I have a slightly used set of 3D Maxpider front floor mats and a weathertech cargo liner I'm willing to sell for $50 for all three as a set. I live in the Sacramento area and can drop this off if you live near by.
Agreed. Reliability testing and engineering are two different things. Toyota did not engineer or partner with BMW to engineer the B58. In one interview Tadasan said that parts that didn't meet Toyotas requirement was only "suggested" to be changed.
I think Europe is also moving to all EV vehicles but not sure when. California will not allow any gas/diesel vehicles to be sold by 2035 and I hear CA is a huge market for car companies.
If money wasn't an option I'd take the LC500 over the Supra anyday. Couldn't even find a used LC500 that was close to the price of a new Supra when I was looking.
My car is lowered with H&R springs and spacers. I like the more firmer and sportier ride now. Also steering is a bit heavier which what I prefer after it has been lowered with spacers. I'm waiting for the 21 ecu to be unlocked. I just want a simple 91 tune hopefully putting out low 410-420whp. I...
Exactly my point. Just because I can afford a $60k car, it doesn't mean all my choices has to be direct competitors to the GR Supra. If I had purchased a used RCF or C6 Z06, I'd of have saved close to $20k. I just wanted another "fun" car and it's ok if others don't understand my reasons. My...
As a consumer cross shopping and comparing are two different things and not all consumers shops the same way. I know that sounds oxymoron. The best way to say it is some shoppers may look at many vehicles within a certain price range. For me it was between $30k-$60k. Used sports cars, fast...
IMO, I don't think the Supra will depreciate as bad as a typical German vehicle. I don't see it holding it's value like most Toyota vehicles tend to do either. Now it will also depends on how many mkv supras are sold at the end of it's life cycle. Of course the rarest mkv edition will hold it's...
Many people here probably wanted a unique and fun vehicle to drive. The Civic Type R happen to be one of them. I too considered one since It was significantly cheaper than a Supra. I also test drove a Model 3 Performance and used RCF before I chose the Supra. Now if the Type R didn't look so boy...
I actually did take look at type r before I bought the Supra. It was was hard for me to get over the boy racer looks. It's not in the same performance category but the type r, according to MSRP, is close to $15k-$20k cheaper than the Supra depending on trim.
