Great comparison write up. I've never been a fan of BMWs manual transmission having owned two M cars but I'm also a huge manual sports car person. They are very notch and near impossible to shift smoothly from 1-2. The ZF in the Supra is surprisingly good and way better than the 8spd...
My guess is probably a lip spoiler and very minor body add ons. As far as powertrain goes there'll probably be a manual option and maybe a special edition with the S55 engine option.
Very true. I forgot about the remaining 2020s. Many dealerships were giving heavy discounts just to move them off their lots. I think for around $48k-$53k the Supra 6cy will sell more. The sales number seem to reflect where Toyota was giving rebates and 0% financing as well as heavy discounts.
Email several dealerships and wait it out if you have to. Best time to buy is usually towards the end of the month when each dealership has to report their sales and usually more desperate to sell. I got $4k off MSRP for my 2021 3.0 premium and even then I felt I could have gotten more off if I...
I'd definitely take a used C7 Z06 over a new Supra but didn't because I already own a Camaro zl1 1le. I needed a daily that gets decent gas mileage and still sporty so a new Supra it was.
I voted for the C8 but ended up buying a 2021 Supra due to the price differences. I got a decent deal and saved close to $10k by not buying the C8. Had the dealership stuck with their $58k msrp on the Supra, I'd of jump on a C8 instead.
That's what I'm thinking and it's only a matter of time before other states adopt this idea. I think the this will probably be the last gen of gas powered Supra and most cars in general.
I'd definitely take delivery of the car and just have the dealership sign an agreement to install the spoiler later on. No point in draining out the battery.
Same user name as well in the s2ki community. The GR Supra resemblance to the s2k is part of the reason why I purchased one since Honda wont be releasing the any new S2000. That and I have a soft spot for small two seater sports cars.
Never drove a Z car but I do have a 2019 Camaro zl1 1le. All of those exterior parts and vents are all functional and the car handles extremely well but it's very bumpy though. Supra is more playful and the z1le is more raw.
Anyway. I hope you find what you're looking for. I don't want to take...
Oh I see. But I'm pretty sure it'll be hard to make the vents functional. There's a youtuber name Jackie Ding who tracks his Supra regularly. He went over the vents and basically said it's not worth the hassle and probably wont provide any noticable benefits but hey, I'm no engineering expert...
