Yeah I think I have OCD or something, haha. I didn't notice it until I was cleaning the car one day. I just feel like it's such a odd detail. Regardless, I get so many compliments for the color
I don't think that's you...although that story does check out since that white Supra only shows up once in a while. I say that because the house is not on George St.
Hey -- I'm with you lol. Why you think I own this car. I will say, our squirrely back end seems to ruffle a few feathers. From a sheer driving performance standpoint, we technically aren't the best value per dollar. But, I think our overall package is pretty good.
DIDN'T -- past tense. By today's standards (and in this market), it's definitely worth it. But, let's be clear, the SS 1LE is a better performing car AND the Corvette isn't that far off in price. Also, let's not forget how many people were complaining about the price when this car came out. Have...
The challenge for Toyota is that they'll have to content with dealer-side markup. I didn't think the Supra was worth the 56K I paid (it was a 58K sticker) and I don't think it'll be worth more than 60k if it's just getting a manual. I think the biggest upgrade this car needs is suspension and...
Thanks!
Separately, if anyone on here is keen on a backroads drive, there's one coming up with some other car guys I know on April 24th. We meet in Fair Lawn NJ very early in the AM
The recommended factory pressure is 37 cold. If you care just about a straight line, yeah go lower on the PSI. But, I feel like the car handles more confidently with 37/37 F/R vs any staggered psi. At 32, it's just not as confidence inspiring.
Fair Lawn. Funny enough, looking at your avatar, there's a 7/11 that looks near identical to the one you have in your picture around the corner from me.
Dang, you all got some incredible deals! I got my car for ~2K off (two months ago) and thought I did well. To be fair, they also gave me 2K over any other dealer on the trade so it was net 4k off.
I'll send you a PM!
Separately, I spotted a white MK5 this morning in NJ on the GSP by the Paramus entrance. Thanks for the honk - hope you're on here.
On a separate note, I'm doing a run with two other cars October 23rd from 9-1230. It's a cruise that involves bear mountain and a few other roads. If anyone's interested, I can start a sign up sheet on here
I've been at Toyota of Hackensack for 3 hours just to do an oil change and flash. What the hell lol. These guys sell tons of these cars, why are they so slow
I tried going to Puddle on Saturday and the line was around the block so I just opted to go elsewhere.
In other news, I met up with some Supras the other day. There was a total of seven of us:
