Not perfect, but here’s what I ended up with. Pulled the stupid flap out first, then tried a few different mounts and ended up with this one. Bought an 6” flat cord and it snaps into the back of the mount to hold it there. Phone stays in place really well and is usable if...
...be re named " I bought a Sportscar but need an SUV interior" to carry all my shit around.
When I drive the Supra I have with me a mobile phone, that's it. Cockpit has plenty of room for my needs. If I need fluids I stop for a coffee/water/beer. I see no need to eat in a car, ever. My drink...
You can add anything to the proclip bracket. It's plastic, you can bolt/screw/stick anything to it. I use two in my Supra, one for my phone while datalogging and one for my Garmin Catalyst.
You can see them in action in my videos...
All stock save the tune. On the BMW Forums, no one is getting passed with a DP as it will throw a check engine light as well as fail the visual.
IF you want to check the readiness, grab your Android phone, OBD2 adapter and the Torque App. When you are computer ready, you'll see the top results.
Just picked me up a new iPhone 16 Pro Max this past Tuesday after being stuck on Android for the last 15+ years so maybe someone can give me some insight as to how well Apple CarPlay works with our cars.
Currently it seems like if I have any sort of Navigation going (I primarily use Google...
Yes It took all day for mine. Dealer called at 8 am I showed at the dealer at 11 am I watched them pull it in for update and prep just before noon and left the deal at 5pm. I talked to the mechanic that did the service, He was frazzled and apologetic for it taking so long.
I had a setup kind of like you are thinking about. I had an iPhone X that I was no longer using after moving over to Android. I used a SIM card for a tablet plan so I could still use it for data (apps for CarPlay, iMessage, etc.) and I used a low profile 90 degree USB cable which kept the...
I think it had something to do with me having an iPhone 15, Bootmod3 support had mentioned that phone giving them problems so I used my adapter and ENET cord on my pc and it worked! Shows that I need a bench unlock since my ecu was built in October. Just ordered the mission tuning unlocked! I’m...
For the majority of applications, ABS can be used between −20 and 80 °C (−4 and 176 °F), as its mechanical properties vary with temperature.
Some plastics emit hazardous fumes when 3D-printed. When I do get a printer, it will have an enclosure - maybe Bamboo Labs
When you go to the wifi adapter menu item in the BM3 app (after hitting the circle on the launch screen), does it come up as connected to the adapter?
That is how I know it's connected to the adapter and shortly after you will see the icon in the top right turn green. Sometimes it takes awhile.
...in ahead of me, if she wanted to do so. I assume everyone out there is out to hit ya. But it didn’t happen. So I had plenty of time to grab my phone and used it as a photo op instead ?
Also as I watched in my rear view mirror prior to turning. She was still sitting there. No one was behind...
Thanks. I guess I should place my phone near the valved side, and record the external-only sound difference after hitting the Sport button. My original assumption was that only the Sport mode "generator-like" sound was piped into the cabin during full throttle application.
Essentially, I...
@consultadrone you should get one of these https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BLYX8SHZ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share and fast charge your phone. It’s much faster than the usb port or the crappy wireless charger.
Yoooo. Thanks for all the useful information and recommendation. I had no clue you could bench unlock from home without stepping foot in a shop and without having to take out the ecu and sending it in. Currently I really don't plan on going passed 600whp but we all know how that goes...I say...
