I posted this a while back in another thread, but thought I would show it since I've really liked it ...

Not perfect, but here’s what I ended up with. Pulled the stupid flap out first, then tried a few different mounts and ended up with this one. Bought an 6” flat cord and it snaps into the back of the mount to hold it there. Phone stays in place really well and is usable if needed.

Our vent doesn't have much clearance so the regular ones was no go. I don't have a magnet case and didn't want to go with the ProClip; heard from a few others, it leaves an imprint on the dash over time. Ironically, what ended up working was this one from Walmart. Fitting is perfect, cost me $15 CAD.
