What's the credit again? When I start traveling the US I may just keep my car "garaged" in VA as a travel contractor. Because of the actual low registration and personal plate fees I'm considering it.

I’m surprised at these fees. I haven’t had this car long enough but personalized plates in VA are $10 a year and registration for a <4k lb car is $30.75. The bulk of cost (which is bullshit) is personal property tax in my county which was ~$600.

I’m in the jack stand crowd. If I was swimming in it and not traveling I’d get a quickjack. In the future, for going across the country etc I also wanna keep things as light as possible. I’m also in the crowd of spending that money on tires lol.

I wanna piggyback a question and see if people are using BMW specialty shops for tuning needs. I do take my Supra to a shop for certain jobs and maintenance and they work with and race mostly BMWs/other european cars, but they’ll work on anything.

Just curious if anyone has a set of red calipers they’re willing to let go of, ideally from someone who swapped to a BBK. I thought of painting them yellow or black but I’m back and forth between that and considering just settling for red at this point.
