Obviously there were more LE’s, but they received several allocations for the LE and they are expecting to receive two A91-MTs.
However, I’m waiting for them to confirm that is the case before I sell my LE. If it doesn’t work out, I’ll get my deposit back. Win-win.
The dealer I bought my Launch Edition from took a refundable deposit from me for the A91-MT in mid-April.
Dealer confirmed I was the first deposit for the A91-MT and that they would sell it to me at MSRP.
I did caption the dyno sheet with:
“Okay friends, what excuse are we going to use to explain this away?
This is a stock 2020 Supra vs. a stock 2023 Z.”
I feel like that’s pretty tame considering some of the other comments on that thread lol
Wow… I was just banned from the Z forums for posting that dyno sheet on the “Nissan Z vs. Toyota Supra” thread…
They are either really sensitive over there or are trying their best to do damage control. Pathetic lmao ?
My comment was specifically in reference to service costs. Most dealers in the Seattle area will bend you over w/ markups. That’s why I flew to Iowa to buy mine.
I found that Lake City Toyota was the best dealer in the area in terms of price and customer service. I’ve had a few oil changes done there, windshield sensor recalibration, and the brake recall all done with no mishaps.
The other dealers wanted to keep my car for several days to do the sensor...
Here comes my obligatory avoid Michael’s in Bellevue comment hahaha.
I had an extremely poor experience with them when I was looking to buy a Launch Edition last March. Essentially they were asking around $5k- $6k more than similar LE’s across the country, and when I presented them with this...
I think there’s a review embargo until the 16th, he skirted it by uploading “Just the noise” lol. It looks like the blue car was the lead car, and Matt was just supposed to follow their pace.
