I'm personally running catless, the CEL doesn't bother me.
If the CEL bothers you then AMS & AA Catted DP's don't throw a CEL.
People claim Armytrix catless DP with the simulator that's built in won't throw a CEL.
not at all surprisingly, the plate is super visible and I know several of my friends have been running it with no problems.
I think because it looks similar to the digital black and white they just disregard it.

Interesting, I'd try listening for the motor on the side that isn't folding. Sounds like the motor has failed or something's out of place like @BadOne said. May be worth disassembling some peices and checking or allowing the dealer to figure it out on your behalf! Best of luck.

If this tip helps, I used 3m double sided super strength tape. Heated it up a lot. Stuck it to the button and then attached a handle of a screwdriver to the tape. Yanked on it and it worked, the putty didnāt do it for me.
While i'm not sure if you need control arms, I do know you should realign it according to your setup.
I'm running H&R springs and I didn't need silencers, no clunks etc.
It makes the noise with the ebrake off, in theory though your explanation is possible. The car is giving a little of compensation and by doing so it makes the creaking noise in the rear.
Car has 1900 miles, lowered on H&R springs with 13mm/15mm spacers.
