  1. If I had a dollar for every ____ that wanted a piece of the Supra…

Yeah it’s always the other guys challenging me… never my fault I behave like an adult 100% of the time.
  2. Compatible BMW ECUs for Cloning

But did anyone find a source? PM if you’ve got one to sell… ?
  3. MG1 ECU Teardown | Attempting component-level repair on the Supra ECU

I've been told from a trusted source that the flash memory/CPU combo component on this ECU is likely dead. This process will yield nothing of value other than the information I have shared here. Should I keep going? Even if I destroy the PCB trying to remove it now, it won't matter. Anyone...
  4. MG1 ECU Teardown | Attempting component-level repair on the Supra ECU

Alright boys this weekend I’m getting desperate. First I am going to try a very high temp in the oven. 300F for at least 10 minutes. if I can get it to pry up, then I’ll cut away what I can and try to free the PCB. If this doesn’t work I also have plans to boil the ecu in distilled water to see...
  5. MG1 ECU Teardown | Attempting component-level repair on the Supra ECU

It is some type of really interesting stuff. I can cut away at it after 48hours soaking in ISO. But the difficulty now is actually getting a blade underneath the PCB, between the enclosure. I can’t seem to pry the PCB up enough to cut away this material, and I’m concerned going stronger with...
  6. MG1 ECU Teardown | Attempting component-level repair on the Supra ECU

New update above... things didn't go well last night. No progress was made, but we've set it in some ISO hoping for enough to break free we can lift it out of the enclosure. Have you dealt with this crap before?
  7. MG1 ECU Teardown | Attempting component-level repair on the Supra ECU

Well we decided yesterday to give the ECU to the oven. This went about as well as expected. We initially tried the lowest heat setting, doing our best to avoid heat exposing the plastics too much. This turned out to be not nearly enough. We moved on to using a 250F set temp, with about 10...
  8. MG1 ECU Teardown | Attempting component-level repair on the Supra ECU

Hello fellow nerds, I recently came into possession of a MG1 ECU that is "cloneable," the catch is this ECU was clearly involved in nasty wreck. I want to take this opportunity to do what I think has not been documented before. We are tearing open this enclosure and going to attempt to repair...
  9. My car got hit šŸ¤•šŸ˜”

Sorry bro she’s gone. Part it out. /s but what’s good with your ECU tho? ?? ???
  10. JB4/MHD BEF vs Ecutek (Post 6/20 car)

no the only thing I can really see Femto doing is attacking and cloning memory entirely onto an ECU that has known exploits working with ECUTEK and other vendors. they aren’t breaking into the new encryption, simply going around it.
  11. No more Russia unlocks

i don’t think this is true. I don’t want to start any drama. I know of one other vendor doing this mail forwarding nonsense
  12. RBT Tuning announces a TCU tune for the Supra! | Full OBD Support for 8HP3G incoming! (8HP51/8HP76)

  13. RBT Tuning announces a TCU tune for the Supra! | Full OBD Support for 8HP3G incoming! (8HP51/8HP76)

Also looking forward to two-step and full integration with ECUTek so we can control maps on the fly. I just two step at the light, yo.
  14. RBT Tuning announces a TCU tune for the Supra! | Full OBD Support for 8HP3G incoming! (8HP51/8HP76)

What do you guys think of this? Wondering how much impact this will have, it's a really cheap tune that could have a big impact on the street and the track. Didn't see anyone post hear about it yet, but I have been hearing rumors of this ever since TX2K this year. Looking forward to testing...
  15. No more Russia unlocks

Funny, it's so silly to obfuscate that process, and the costs involved. If you add value to process along the way then charge for it!
  16. JB4/MHD BEF vs Ecutek (Post 6/20 car)

I am also curious, surely you still need to clone the ecu to access all the fun parts of memory, unless something magic happened
  17. Cannot measure oil

When I had mine serviced the tech wrote that they found the sensor seized in the oil pan. But they claimed that replacing just the oil sensor was not enough to fix the issues, they had to replace the oil pump as well.
  18. Measuring Engine Oil Level | Continuously Fails at 21%

I’m gonna drop in an update: I took my car to Cedar Park Toyota and they opted to replace both the oil pump and the oil level sensor. Once both of these replaced I can measure perfectly my oil level every time. I actually also consume less oil than before but I also crossed that magic 10k mile...
  19. Oil Level Analysis with EcuTek

after my sensor seized I took mine into the dealer. They replaced the sensor but that didn’t fix the issue? I am only guessing as they kept the car and opted to drop the subframe and replace the oil pump works great now, car consumes less oil too
