Would going bigger and WIDER be advised? Thinking of going 20" 275/295 setup for the front and rear 10" wide in the front and 11" in the rear. Still on the fence if I buy the wider wheels if I should step up to a 285/305
Thanks for your input
Can you fit 305s on the stock wheels in the rear? Looking to upgrade from the stock PSS. P4S still the standard for daily driving? Currently not tuned, but plans for a low end tune (sub 500)
Would anyone here speak to going wider diameter wheels? Do the 20" wheels have better handling/ride...
More than patient, still getting my motor inspected under the microscope by Toyota to see if they will replace it for oil consumption.
Need a test dummy? Happy to help, also run my own manufacturing business. I have to add oil every fucking 600 miles. Once they take the torque seal off my engine...
I feel like I should provide an update.
I took my car to not one, but two dealerships after reverting to stock and taking off any performance parts.
the engine oil level sensor is failing in my car and I can’t measure the oil level. Toyota Cedar Park has opted to replace this sensor, but it...
For now I am using Bimmerlink to view raw sensor data. Can anyone tell me what the minimum level in mm is for this oil level? It is my understanding that the car tells you to add 1L of oil when it's only 500ml low on oil. But this sensor just spit out a value in mm telling you what it sees in...
Id like to ask a clarifying question:
Does this mean if one were to acquire a “compatible” “not tunable” ecu there is no value to it? Since you can’t dump your ECU contents to it, and if you sent to FEMTO it would only be unlocked, not cloned, it would be of no use to not the original owner.
Is...
It makes no sense to me and is a big reason why I decided to not bring the car back to that specific dealer. I will be taking the car to Cedar Park Toyota under many recommendations. I have chosen not to address oil consumption with them, rather only specifically target this senor's issues. I...
I’d like to update that no matter if my engine is colder than 90C (after buying BimmerLink to measure it) I cannot measure the oil level. It still continues to malfunction.
Ive decided against bringing the Supra back to around Rock Toyota… I just don’t think they did the right thing sending me...
Can’t even get the car to read oil levels after it is definitely below 90c. Sat there and let it cool, started it up and ran the oil test many times until the car finally hit 90c, all tests failed.
Haven’t thought if the thermostat reading high would cause the oil test to fail. Not sure how I would go about confirming this. I guess I would need to understand normal operating temperature for the engine.
