I grew up in Sunrise. Coral Springs is right on the border to PBC. Well there’s other users in Boca and Wellington on here too. Guess we need our own “north sfl” thread lol!
Those look nice! I just changed my paddle shifters to the Golden Wrench aluminum ones. Idk if you've ever taken off a BMW style airbag, but it wasn't easy for me.
Trick is, after you puncture the side of the steeing wheel with a flathead screw driver, use a torx or phillips style screw driver...
Are you guys planning on reverse engineering the A91 edition lip spoiler? I know most A91 buyers didn't even get the spoiler so it might be hard to get a hold of one.
This is great. I was actually able to get it off, but I had to switch tools. I was using a flat head screw driver, but apparently it was going between the spring coils. I had a lot of spring metal shavings coming out during my initial struggles. I later switched to a T15 torx driver and that was...
TBH I don't think any kinks will be worked out of this car over time. Mostly everything in the Supra is pre-existing hardware from the BMW lineup. From the engine, drivetrain, electronics, etc. Even though the 2020 was a first model year, there wasn't really anything "new". When I was looking at...
For the life of me I can’t get the airbag off. I’m using as much force as I can. Idk if I’m contacting the springs correctly. Are there any extra tips for getting it off?
It really comes down to the color. I know others are downplaying the HUD but it’s actually one of my most used features inside the car. I use it to change radio stations while driving. I never have to touch the infotainment knob and I can keep my CarPlay or navigation on the screen. The HUD is...
Check this out. It’s an option for the parking sensors. From the Home Screen, if you press the “Options” button right below the iDrive knob, you can access some parking sensor settings. This one seems to relate to using the sensors while reversing.
Wow that’s freaking awesome. Sucks to be without the car for a while. But Toyota definitely stepped up to make it right. They’re only obligated to fix the car, but offering the warranty for free is definitely great customer service.
Its for the emergency braking. The adaptive cruise setting is adjusted on the steering wheel (following distance). For the reversing, I'm not sure. I believe that's tied to the radar sensors in the rear bumper and I doubt that's part of the emergency braking system. You might have to looking...
I reduced the default stopping range so its not too invasive. My wife's CX-5 slams on the brakes any time a car is turning off the road and I know I'll be able to clear it. The Supra doesn't do that thankfully since I can adjust the settings.
I think it depends on what people are looking to get out of the car. For me I was leaning towards a 2021 because I'm not going to mod it much so I figured the updates would be fine. But then the reviews for the 2021s started coming out and current Supra owners were driving the new cars and...
Okay that’s going to be what I have to do. Thank goodness for CarPlay! It’s been work f flawlessly so far and very smooth. I’m just still unhappy that I specifically asked them to have it activated before I arrived and they didn’t.
Yeah the Supra connect app works. I can access all the functions. Just the Nav isn’t active. And there’s no other way than to take it to a dealership?
