Yeah the liquid might be too thin, considering how much play might be in the bolt, since it's not meant to be water tight. I'd typically try a few layers of Teflon, or even electrical tape which is thicker and stronger?

That does seem like an insane price. Is this authentic? Did you pick one up? Edit: the deeper you read into the description reveals that this company is making their own version of the Artisan Spirits lip and this is not an authentic piece. That would explain the $1000 difference in price lol
