I attend Wookies in the Woods annually with friends, been going since 2015. I'm keeping the GTI at home and driving the Supra this year. :) April 8-13th we'll be driving the amazing roads out there.
One more comment, these tires straight hook. My car laid down 610whp and i cannot believe how well these tires hold down the power. Haven't done a ton of pulls yet but these are night and day better than the PSS's, where all i did when i had those on was spin. Quieter and believe it or not...
Going to drive 28 and tail of the dragon (and all the amazing roads in the smoky mountains) for a straight week in about 3 weeks from how, so i hope i can scrub the tires a bit around town before i send it there but yeah, i'll keep you posted.
Just got the car back from having the RT660's installed, same config as DermDoc. Chubby boys went on just fine, zero rubbing or issues at this point but it was like a 5 mile drive from the tire place. The rear 295 is a tad wide of the fender w/ the 15mm spacer if you look straight on from the...
I ended up going w/ the Titan titanium system given it's a great deal, meets all my requirements, and will mate up to my Titan catless downpipe well for a full Titan setup. I reached out to a couple of guys on YT that had posted recent videos (last couple of weeks), and both of them had nothing...
Yeah, i know....exhaust costs are a fleecing since most of it is for sound and aesthetics rather than providing a lot more power. Let's be honest, most of these are being made overseas for material costs well less than $1000. Charging $4k for an exhaust is highway robbery IMO. :)
I'm resurrecting this thread because i'm looking at exhausts. Hoping to get some input from folks. Sound is very subjective, so we'll leave that for last. My situation is BM3 custom flex-tune by Sam (~600rwhp on E30), Remnant Omega 65 turbo, stock fueling, intake, charge pipe, Titan catless...
Those folks are not and they may never be back to be honest. The guys at CMS apparently forgot to put the event on FB but it’s on the Charlotte Motor Speedway website under the events section.
Nice, looks great!! Welcome to the forum. Charlotte Cars and Coffee will be at CMS tomorrow morning if you're near the Charlotte area. I've yet to see one of these in this color in person.
This has been covered extensively in other threads, we know going wider on the wheel would be optimal. There are a lot of folks who don't want to spend $3,500 on aftermarket wheels to gain .5 of an inch width, i'm one of them. I don't plan to do track days (at least as of now) but i also don't...
This really boils down to what your use case is. The Supra slaps, for relatively very few $, this car be easily hit 500-600whp and almost the same on the TQ side. It pulls like a freight train, i'm not sure you're going to find that same experience in the GT4. Street manners of the Supra is...
While i understand your point, the search function on these forums blows. I searched "tires" to try to find threads on that topic and after looking at like top 30 threads, it was nonsense and not what i was looking for. Maybe i need to educate myself on forum search but let's just say it's not...
Not sure how your situation is unique, anyone that wants a fully unlocked ECU, they need to go the cloned ECU route. Most are doing this specifically for tuners on the EcuTek platform, and a few other benefits of course. The situation is the same for everyone, it needs to go to Femto...
You may end regretting the absolutely boring look of the OEM spoiler. Mine didn't even come with one as Toyota was having supply chain problems and you know, we'll get it for you later.....that never happened.
