  1. Restraint / Drivetrain error after rebuild.

If you can get a Toyota dealer to agree to just do a steering angle sensor (SAS) reset done without looking at your car, inspecting it, or touching anything, you should be good @FLtrackdays if you got the issue after installing SPL parts, give them a call. They are aware of this now and may...
  2. Restraint / Drivetrain error after rebuild.

I bought the ENET coff Amazon for $20 and the shop bought a 2-day license off of http://techinfo.toyota.com for $80 Just filled in made up data for dealer info to register it. :) If you google how to do the BMW ISTA install and do the two above purchases you can get full factory access to your...
  3. Restraint / Drivetrain error after rebuild.

There are directions somewhere on the internet to spoof the correct cable with a $20 Amazon bmw ENET… Our BMW brothers and sisters seem to have cracked the code if you google “rheingold ISTA installation” you can learn more. Similar process to get the Toyota version to work.
  4. Restraint / Drivetrain error after rebuild.

That’s f’ed up but not surprising. Might work going to BMW but I know a lot of them will tell you to go to Toyota. I’d keep trying other dealers or DM me and I can tell you the shop I went to and you can check if they can put you in touch with the guy that did it remotely. Also know of...
  5. Restraint / Drivetrain error after rebuild.

Nope. Tried foxwell and several more expensive scan tools with 0 success. The only solution we found was purchasing a license for Toyota’s ISTA software and using that. It also requires a $500 cable to connect it to the car but a generic $20 ENET can be used if you manually install the drivers...
  6. Your Favourite Suspension Mods!! go!

MSS definitely stiffer than stock. On the street it feels slightly too stiff sometimes… on the track it feels too soft always. I guess it makes for a good compromise. Will be selling mine soon when my JRZ coilovers come in. Overall happy with MSS and have ridden on track in a similar Supra...
  7. What did you do to your Supra today?

Now you just need cooling, big turbo, downpipe, exhaust, intake, coilovers, sway bars, suspensions parts, aero, wheels, tires, and brakes and then you’ll have two track cars and need another kid hauler ???
  8. Your Favourite Suspension Mods!! go!

I seriously question their design and quality. Don't want to share more here but feel free to shoot me a DM.
  9. Your Favourite Suspension Mods!! go!

Terrible installation tbh. In retrospect I wouldn't use SPL parts and will end up pulling them off my car.

The high ride height is to maintain the optimal roll center so there is LESS suspension travel, not more.
  11. Post 6/2020 ECU unlocked in US

The thing is they claim to already be able to 100% fully unlock these ECUs for some time now. They say they’ve already done it. But they’re too busy “building the world’s fastest McLaren” to bother “finish testing” and sell the unlock. Because that’s the shop owners “priority.” The R&D is...
  12. Restraint / Drivetrain error after rebuild.

Yes, those are the codes that came back after clearing them. Been to 4 shops with no luck. Got one more thing to try and then taking it to Toyota for a steering angle sensor reset on Tuesday to see if that helps… I’ve also knocked my front radar sensor out of place :/
  13. Restraint / Drivetrain error after rebuild.

I don’t think my car was technically in service mode, although a bbk was installed + rear pads + full flush/bleed. The codes were all thrown after car was driven with ride height too low and rear l passenger wheel toed out about 6-10 degrees (don’t ask ?).
  14. Restraint / Drivetrain error after rebuild.

Also have the same problem (chassis codes, steering codes, rear diff codes) after SPL parts install and alignment… Please post here if you manage to solve it @FLtrackdays @underdonk
  15. Mimosa's Street Build

virtually everything Porsche makes is wonderful… but good god Aston Martins are all absolute dogshit. don’t buy an Aston, please.
  16. Your Favourite Suspension Mods!! go!

stiffer front end = more understeer most people like understeer because it makes the car feel less scary but the car won’t necessarily be “faster” or “better” on track. depends on what you like and how you drive it.
  17. Supra Roll Cage

Please disregard my ignorance if this is a dumb question, but can’t we just weld that bad boy into place?
  18. First time buying aftermarket wheels. Some setup and fitment questions

its not about ride height. Those particular springs(or coil overs) increase the clearance on the strut side of the wheel and allow you to run a wider wheel without a spacer. on stock springs you won’t have as much space behind the wheel (the springs physically stick out further) and you’ll need...
  19. First time buying aftermarket wheels. Some setup and fitment questions

Pretty sure you’ll need the same HKS height-adjustable springs or a set of real coil overs to have the clearance to fit those wheels without spacer. personally would pass
