I waited as well, no worries...things will calm down and time will see things change. I only have a JB+ right now on my car and it does pretty well, a JB4 would be even better. The ECU unlock can be done, and it will eventually be done by someone else - just takes some time :)

Incorrect. All cars have power advertised at the crank. It may be the case that the B58 variant in the Supra is overrated from the factory.

All horsepower/torque are measured at the crank with the engine out of the car in a controlled room with certain humidity / temperature / pressure. Body dynamometers come in different types, and depending on the information put into them - numbers can be inflated/exaggerated. I remember when...

It would be at the crank. Cars are advertised at their crank horsepower. Not at the wheels.

I remember when the Neon SRT-4 came out, everyone would flip out when you called it a Neon. They would put these little headlight covers on them to make them seem "angry"...it was cute.

Did they mention any horsepower numbers? The latest B58 in the Supra is the highest output they make - until you hit the S58 found in the M cars - it might be the use the same B58 just with the GT4 ECU tweaks of 430hp to say it makes more power.

We have yet to know - nothing has been announced as of yet. My company is already telling folks to get ready to pause any type of product shipment to Russia.

As mentioned, the answer is no...they use a newer version of iDrive than the Supra does. Why? I have no clue.

Only a little bit over a grand or so - its a hobby and its money you really don't get back - try to think about it like gambling - you do it for the entertainment and not the "value" as cars are usually depreciating assets.
