Going to 5w30 is a good thing, consumption or not. It's a high performance engine, and if you treat it as such, it's going to burn some oil. Oil is cheap, so don't worry about it. 4800 miles on a quarter if I read your post correctly is absolutely fine.

Yup exactly. Max can squeeze out a few fast laps, and then it starts falling behind the rest. The good thing for Max is if McLaren and Ferrari keep trading blows, and he keeps getting podiums, he'll be right there when they fix that issue. He was 7 points behind before the sprint, and only 2 after.

You're paying for the exclusivity, not the car itself. You price out the parts, the seats, KW suspension, the carbon etc you won't get to that price. But when you factor in it's 1 of 200 or 300 for the entire planet then that changes things. If we were to get it, not a single one would be priced...
