Well, ask yourself this. Would Max have made all those bad decisions that cost Lando so many points? True, McLaren made some bad calls, but they've mostly come from Lando himself, not to mention his AWFUL starts.
If roles were reversed, Max would have taken the lead of the Championship in that...
I've been busy lol. Max is doing what he needs to. Limiting his point loss to Lando. Max is putting that third fastest car, realistically a P5-P6 car, consistently higher. P2 in qualy while Lando in the fastest car puts it P3. That's a Champion. Lando crying with McKaren because he got punished...
The biggest mistake you can make is bolting all that shit on your car if you're a newbie, because you don't know how to utilize it. You can put on awesome brake pads, tires, braces, it will do NOTHING for you but waste money. The car is perfectly capable in stock form. It can take way more than...
And Subaru's STI transmission. That rod driven transmission was incredible. Like a bolt action rifle.
Not to be confused with the WRX's cable driven sloppy ?
Papaya rules just means, the team comes first, don't take each other out. For the team it doesn't matter who finishes 2nd, and who 3rd. The points for the team stay the same.
As far as team orders, I have a feeling Piastri has a clause in his contract that they can't order him to let Norris by.
BMW manuals are shit. Always have been. If your heart is set on a manual car, there are better manuals to be found. If your heart is set on a Supra, then the auto is better. Personally I shift the auto manually with the paddles. Best of both worlds. I've driven both the auto and the manual, and...
If social media existed back then, there'd be riots outside the paddock lol. Radio's weren't broadcast, after a crash they just went at it. Think it was Nelson Piquet who tried to beat up another driver after a crash. Senna punched Irvine, Schumacher tried to kick Coulthard's ass, and so on...
He's in a shitbox and leading the championship so ?‍♂️
But in all seriousness, a good driver can overcome a deficit of a couple tenths. A great one up to half a second. The McLaren is faster than that still. Max is great, but he can't perform miracles. Perez shows the car as it is. Max being...
Lmao. So you're new to this. You DO have to be an ass to win, or be in a car faster than anyone else and have a shit teammate.
ALL the greatest drivers were assholes.
Senna, punched another driver, not to mention crashing out Prost to win.
Prost, same.
Mansell, unbelievable asshole...
Lando better pray he wins the title this year, because Piastri is fast becoming the better driver. What a move from the Aussie. McLaren are idiots on the pit wall. Max got extremely lucky this weekend only lost him 8 points. Terrible qualy, awful pitstop, he could've lost a lot more. If McLaren...
Stay with stock size tires. 2.0 doesn't need wider. And the extra half inch of wheel gives you a little bit of stretch which will help avoid rubbing since you're lowered.
The 0w-20 is to raise the MPG rating for the EPA, not because it's what's best for the car. You'll notice a quieter and better idle when you switch, and of course increased protection. I use Liquimoly myself for the last 11k miles and it's been excellent.
Made great toilet paper.
Hard break-in is mandatory for this engine. Most, if not all of us who did one, have no issues. The majority of issues are with the people who drive it like a grandma.
Exactly.
Exactly right. I broke it in hard, drained the pisswater, and she's been happy on 5W-30...
