Cats are, by definition, an exothermic reaction. so yes, a less efficient cat would have less radiant heat. Catless would help more since there is no reaction.
problem statement: high downforce wings (AJH, V1X) generate enough downforce to compress the adjustable support pads for the trunk. this causes the trunk to press into, and shatter, the tail lights from the top. if there is paint wearing away along the edge, it's making contact.

they use the epsilon airfoil, i believe. high efficiency (relatively) but also low downforce at max AOA.
Apparently, Varis defines "swan neck" as "curvy upright" nowadays :rolleyes1:

works just like a traditional speedbleeder, and the first pump gets fluid about 1/2 of the way to the checkvalve so no chance of sucking air back in. there is a little drippage from the rubber seal on the inside of...
as far as i know, the ONLY hood vent vendor that has actually spent the time to go to a physical wind tunnel with a supra to capture downforce and cooling stack data is racelouvers.

the previous owner sent everything he had, and titan confirmed what he had was the full kit.
that being said, its an alibaba exhaust, so it's possible the person at titan didnt know what exactly was missing either.
I use something like this with the brass threaded inserts. No chance of a self-tapper going into your trunk if you overtighten.

the best spot with the space to do so is probably where the front pipe joins the mid pipe. But then you might lose a clamp location. Interested to find out if it helps though.
Heck, i would even try to find a titanium offset oval muffler if you can. i've got some long drives to trackdays...
Just a heads up that the AJHartman canards can trigger the parking sensors. In his installation video, AJ mentions that you should tape the canard on, and drive around to confirm it doesn't trigger. The video then proceeds to drill the top canard's leading edge at the midpoint of the...
I assume something like this is way too low volume to actually have it cast like that, so I'm guessing they're all cut from Billet blanks.
nevertheless, good find @licklobster. About a year ago I was trying to find alternatives to the verus one and I don't know why i didnt see that.
