  1. What did you do to your Supra today?

Unfortunately I have a hard limit on ground clearance (the curb at the end of my driveway) so I have it full "up" at 3.5 inches and only pitched 0.5 degrees down. Sub optimal, but not terrible. Also kind of paranoid about someone taking it (mostly the lead time for a replacement), so using...
  2. What did you do to your Supra today?

Randomly came across a car photographer on the highway and yelled "HUH?!" and "WHAT?!" back and forth at each other to get contact info
  3. Triple Seven CF hood vent installed

Another upside of @rwense vent is that the centerline rivet holes make things much easier to align for the cut. You can snap a chalk line between the rain sensor and the toyota badge. That will be the centerline of the car. The triple seven vent doesn't have anything on the centerline to use as...
  4. Titan Motorsports Valved Ti Exhaust install notes

The plastic just above the tips is melted on both sides. The gap is still fairly even on both sides, so i dont think it's shifted at all. Just hot.
  5. Verus oil-to-air oil cooler

I suppose you're right, methanol would vaporize even better in a road-going SI engine, boosting the in-cylinder cooling effect more (even if that's not being measured here). That being said, I don't know the flow rates of the meth systems that people install on B58's, if they approach 20% of...
  6. What did you do to your Supra today?

Happened to me too. If cloud flare pops up, it's almost never on the user side.
  7. Verus oil-to-air oil cooler

For science i googled it https://www.researchgate.net/publication/383628378_Modelling_the_evaporative_cooling_effect_from_methanol_injection_in_the_intake_of_internal_combustion_engines
  8. What did you do to your Supra today?

The Rex speed clip is much more delicate than the factory one with only about half the attachment points around the edge of the Ring.
  9. What did you do to your Supra today?

They might not be completely clicked in. I had that same issue on one side until I pushed harder and now the vibration is much less
  10. 6 Port Supra B58 Big Turbo Options

It's been awhile since I watched the full race manifold test video from back in the day... Obviously, yes, you can crank up the Boost To overcome poor breathing on the hot side. But why would you want to stress the engine more than you need to? Personally, I wouldn't want a single PSI or...
  11. Illinois - Emissions Test 4th Fail.

Heated 02 Sensor will likely take multiple cold start cycles to get going.
  12. Racebred front splitter install notes

Quick update, rechecking tension after a day at grattan and 3-hour drive each way. I think these are holding on. Before these things would be completely flaccid. Have two full weekends in June and will report back after those.
  13. 2026’s stuck at the port?

My car (2023) sat at the port in the tracker for 3 weeks and then it suddenly jumped to being delivered at the dealership. So it seems not all ground transport companies track things the same
  14. What wing do I run on my Supra?

What does the CL work out to be on the revozport wing when you back-calculate it? As long as it's above 2.2-ish (and not into the 2.6+ bullshit territory) that's roughly what all the good profiles can hit. so it's just a matter of the manufacturer scaling up the airfoil area and supporting it...
  15. Wheel hop - what more can I do?

I agree, I didn't even know that replacing that bushing was an option. But on the flip side, I would DREAD installing the traction arm with even LESS compliance to shove that bolt through.
  16. Wheel hop - what more can I do?

I am curious how they drew that force balance such that the tire tractive force is teleported to the hub center. Regardless, its nice to see they confirm the upper arm will help.
  17. Creaking from passenger wheel (lowered on H/R springs)

Best bet is to just jack it up and take the wheel off and turn the Hub back and forth by hand. To me, it sounds more like a lower ball joint, but that's because I had an IS300 which goes through those like every two years or so.
  18. XHP Reviews and Feedback!

Looks like this was addressed recently, but it seems like it effectively does the same thing as using the idrive menu.
  19. O2 spacer that actually works!

It's fine. A typical catalyst brick has a porosity of 70-80%, or in other words a total blocked area of 20-30%. Plus, the reaction generates more additional volume of gas coming out than goes in, which increases pressure drop even further. I don't trust that the spacer will stay in place for...
