I'm in Lake County and can confirm that there was a 1500 rebate in April when I bought my '21.
The dealer did not want to budge on the price off of sticker (except that rebate.)
What would be really cool is if a company sold a single pipe exhaust (they do) AND a new rear diffuser that covers up the empty hole (they dont - not that i have seen at least)
Are you asking why we have two exhaust exits on our car? Probably because it looks cool.
I have been on different forums with many folks who were super technical and some of the things that I have learned about exhaust and gas flow stuff is that things that make sense to us and seem obvious do...
Yes this is normal - it happened to me too. Nobody had a new battery to give me at any Toyota or BMW Dealership.
You can solve it yourself by unhooking the battery from your car and charging it with a battery charger to full.
Then buy the Bimmerlink app and OBDLink CX connector. Connect the...
You will have to use a type of ODBII monitoring program that will give you the status of the emissions monitors in your ECU.
I bet the after cat monitors will say "not ready" or something to that effect - if that is the case, you might pass in your locality if they allow some monitors to not be...
That's really all I'm looking for until a true ECU Tune - I would do an ECU Tune along with downpipe, etc.
Many folks are used to the car already from driving it, but the car is very fast out of the box.
I don't drive my car that much, but I want to data log before I put on the JB+ and then...
I have Michelin Pilot Sport 4S on my IS-F and they are a great summer/wet tire, you wont find better than that at this time.
At 500-600whp you are going to be scrambling for traction regardless of tire - and if you get a tire to hook you are going to be stressing your driveline.
Awesome!
As a small suggestion you should run an log with an OBDII scanner logging tool while you drive the car around to make sure you are not getting any knock in the motor. If you are, the car will pull timing and reduce your power output - the solution would be to run higher octane fuel or...
I guess it depends on how much knock the car is sensing and timing it is pulling.
If folks are getting low trap speeds on their cars, they should get some fresh 91/93...pull the negative battery cable for a bit, put it back on, then take the car on the highway and do some high gear pulls at...
With how low volume this car is I will be surprised if they do any type of facelift at all.
This car will probably turn into something like the Lexus F products where everyone make comments about the car, but then after its out of production everyone will be looking for one and complaining...
They definitely could say the car is modified outside of parameters and they will refuse to work on it. Technical Service Bulletins (TSB) are not a recall, but "if a customer complains, do this.." type of memo.
I have seen this happen with cars that are even out of warranty - someone brings in...
