I THINK the phd setup is
Reinforcement plates = verus standard (same as ucw)
Upright = spage or phd design, verus manufactured
Wing = spage design, spage manufacture
CFD analysis = spage/phd commissioned, verus performed

AFAIK, BMW has been doing system level cooling analysis longer than any other OEM. They published this back in 2001...
Oh, yeah that is probably compressing the bushings upwards. Not sure if it's the source of the clunk, though.
Doing it on stands would let it sag with ~50 lbs of preload down. But with the jack on there, the bushings have 1500 lbs of preload up.
The reason why I asked about fluid is that the...
I don't have a wheel to test, but i believe using these settings will allow any modern bmw steering wheel combo to work, so long as they're not super old.
LIN_VARIANTE SZL (steering wheel stalks) = nicht_aktiv Disabled
LIN_VARIANTE_LRE (steering wheel internals) = nicht_aktiv Disabled

I also had the same thought about torque after reading the directions. In this case because it's a wedge lock going into an aluminum surface, I trust the wedge lock specs. Since this is a specialized part, over torque would probably destroy it.
As a counterpoint, I have never had those errors when flashing with MHD, ever. That being said, we are just two datapoint. But gather enough datapoints, and you make a trend. What OBD dongle are you using? I'm using MHD universal (red wifi)
Both bm3 and MHD has boost by gear. In MHD, this...
Huh, that a pretty neat design. Take it from 300+ to 220-ish using the higher flow capacity system, then use low flow capacity system to bring it down to ambient. Smart.
My bet is that he used the ACC as an excuse. We were posting about it for MONTHS before the product was even for sale.
My gut feeling is he never intended to pay for that carbon unit and only charged back after it arrived on his door step :bat:
Not sure why they did it like that :what:
(i mean i can probably guess, 2 parts to assemble. 1 piece would be too big, but 3 pieces would add assembly time and double the bolts to track in inventory)
Based on the following, it would be in 5AG, however we dont have that option. So that means if someone wants to keep lane departure, they would need to leave 5AS on, and selectively turn stuff off to disable front collision. Will explore the protool "add-on" function tomorrow and see what it...
I think it's the fact that they did such a good job, there's really not much else you can do besides the obvious panels you mentioned, and deletion of electronic/engine subsystems. Any other platform, aluminum subframes and fiberglass hatches would be one of the final upgrades you would do.
A pre-existing insert that can't be removed? Is it the retaining nut for the factory mass damper? Or if it's threaded, was your car previously owned by someone else? And they installed a vargas diff brace and the nutsert broke off in the hole
The instructions in the first post start by disabling ACC, then selectively turning certain software features off that depend on the radar being there.
Working on a new set of instructions where we disable things in batches using vehicle order, but then selectively change the checks for...
