So I think this tells us all one thing. Do your research before purchasing a stick-on duckbill. If your happy with it, install it and forget it. The 3M tapes of today are seriously permanent so be sure your choice is what you want. If you need to remove it, expect some paint damage. ✌️✌️

1st off, sorry for your misfortune. This is simple. Our "opinions" dont matter. I say fix it but if your insurance company says it's totalled, take their payment and purchase another one. It sucks but after all is said and done, it's a peice of metal and you weren't injured. Just my 2 cents. ✌️

Well, it happened. Had to take the car in for an A/C issue which was fixed under warranty. Sure enough they performed the DCM update and now my start/stop coding is gone. I'll try to reprogram through Bimmer but I'm not holding my breath. Until then, I'll "PRESS THE BUTTON". ARRRGH. ✌️
