Had a similar experience. Same camber on a ~1.25" drop with MSS adjustable springs.
OP: Eibach Euro spring is probably going to have a bit less of a drop and probably less camber.
I ran my AA catted for all of 1k miles and am selling it now. No cel, in perfect shape.
DM me if interested.
(I’m going to catless with custom exhaust now that my ECU is unlocked)
Haha fair. It’s at the shop now, so it’s more of a “this is getting scrapped if you leave it here”’ scenario. No way in hell I’m touching it ?
Would probably just go straight to coilovers if I knew what I wanted. But no regrets running height adjustable springs in the interim. No noises or anything out of the ordinary.
To elaborate, you would be losing track performance for an improvement in road comfort.
might as well just run 200tw tires instead. They aren’t really worse on the street but are MUCH better on the track. Nankang Cr-s, re-71rs, or rt660 would all be good choices.
Personally I think the...
CAN bus. It’s the network that your ECU and electronics use to communicate with each other.
You can hardwire various devices directly to the network and pull info that is transmitted over itZ
My local DHL rep told me that isn't even a thing as there is no option anywhere to specify if something is temporary, so she taped my note on the side of the box explaining that it was a temporary export for testing only (not repair) and it was delivered to Femto this morning without getting...
MSS is a bit stiffer and better on the track. HKS slightly softer and more comfortable on the street, although MSS is fine as well.
MSS is very quiet. I believe HKS is as well but I haven’t driven with them as much.
Adjusting the rear sucks on either.
One difference is that you can run wider...
Just spoke with Pure regarding the cast p800. A few notes:
They are working on it for the supra and it should be available early next year
Benefit 1: “hopefully” enhanced flow through the manifold due to improved design, resulting in the peak power being slightly higher than the current p800...
Same issue.
Can someone confirm which selection for the “regular unlock” is best?
Ultimately I’m going ecutek + custom tune with a bigger turbo on the cloned ECU.
anything else I need to tell Femto to make sure this is done right?
Yes, normal, a lot of preload on the rear.
To decrease the ride height a lot it may be easier to just remove the springs to make the adjustment.
To increase the ride height it shouldn’t be so bad as the preload won’t be fighting against you. Still not that fun.
In either case it will be much...
I would personally take the p zero pz4 over ps4s or pss. Had the pz4 on my 992 tts and they felt great and looked great. (Can’t argue with Porsche, right?)
Had both ps4s and pss on my f82 and didn’t like either. tried ps4s on my wife’s car and pulled them off. they only ever felt good on a...
