Also not helped in the photo because the airbag cover is slightly rotated off-center I believe. To me the stripe looks just fine if you're used to mentally "auto-correcting" barrel distortion from looking at photos all day long.
Provided I'm not working on it that weekend I think that could be arranged. I basically bought it as a hobby to fulfill my need to do "actual work" on something (but not live in a perpetual construction zone). Writing software isn't nearly as fulfilling as woodworking, interior design, etc...
I have a house across the highway from Spring Mountain... need a telescope to get a good view from the back yard - but I can hear it just fine. Never occurred to me to be upset about the noise from a track that was right there when I purchased the house.
Of course, my other house (in the city)...
I was not aware that I needed a station wagon with a GTR front-clip in my life.
Now that I am aware of this fact, I have a long night of parts searches ahead of me.
So thanks for that.
WTF man! Take her out every weekend at least. At this point you should have just purchased a rolling chassis and called it an "automotive sculpture".
At least the catastrophic dumpster fire called "Toyota/Lexus Infotainment Systems" did better than the iDrive system (in this one specific area). Sadly that's their only check mark in the "wins" column IMO.
You could solve all your problems by just driving the damn car... I put as many miles...
Most newer models have 3-4 locations here: driver's side door, dash front, hood front and possibly frame side or firewall. Maybe not a specification in CA so they don't do it, but seems strange they don't just add the "unnecessary/extra" badges at the factory for consistency.
On topic... I...
None. There's a bit of the typical BMW "ghosts" in the electronics of course. Every 20th time or so I turn off the engine, I can't put the windows up for 5-10 seconds, and occasionally the USB port "disappears" for a day or two, etc.
As far as everything else, I've had to replace the battery...
Mine's coming up on her 4th birthday next month - 58K miles so far. I can still count on one hand the days in a year I don't drive it - but I do need to start shopping for something a bit more practical soon (likely a '24 taco). Never getting rid of the MKV however.
Sorry you got scammed. I would usually just leave the transaction altogether if they even suggested "F&F" for the purchase - although if the seller is extremely well vetted (and the price is fair), I'll just offer to add the 3% to the total so they get the full amount.
If that's not...
LOL and depending on the location... I'd actually prefer New Mexico. Nevada is one of the ugliest places to live IMO (and Cali one of the most beautiful), but the saving grace was always the lack of Californians... and the low cost of living - not so much now. ;)
On the upside... I definitely...
Just for pointless pedantry since this thread seems to have run it's course...
I don't know about all the California specifics... but I know you have slightly higher sales tax, property tax, state corporate income tax, etc. than we do here in Nevada - and I could get pretty close to 50% here...
AI can make an image in 15 seconds that would take me a year... but I'm really glad they're not engineering roads yet... I'd definitely be afraid of oncoming traffic on that road (unless they're on a bike I guess).
Seems the Bing implementation works about as well as their search engine does... since this is supposed to be in the "style of 70's muscle car air brush artwork"
We have a few places around here where the police have been gracious enough to put "calibration signs" up... all I know is my speedometer is accurate to "SLOW DOWN" - whatever that means.
Tell me more about this 0% sales tax in Nevada please... because that's a hack I'd love to find! We're under 10%, but unless you live in a place where indoor plumbing is considered "high tech"... it's well above the minimum state rate of 6.85%. :D
We basically have CA level taxes in most urban...
