I really don`t even understand how people can follow the break in thing. Every performance car I ever owned I was so excited to floor it to redline leaving dealership. Having to wait a entire month (or longer) to floor a brand new car I just crazy to me.
You have to remember often times people on the forums tend to be overkill with maintenance. I treat all cars the same once a year or when the car says its due. Did this on high end cars and lower end cars never once had any problems.
Unless you are working for family or close friends I would think everyone should not expect loyalty from employer. With that said there still is a certain level of corporate politics you can play within a company to gain some degree of favoritism. Although I am sure its little harder in a remote...
I enjoy certain cars with manuals like corvettes or mustangs (owned both with manuals in past). But for European performance cars I will always pick the auto.
I had a M240i on custom order and let my parents take the car. It a better daily driver but you will be disappointed with steering feel, engine sound, touchscreens, and overall less specialness. But its still a great car and better fitted for colder places.
I am totally good with crypto. But I just need to know which one we as people will put value on so I can buy and use it. Just because something is limited and efficient to use doesn`t give it value. That`s something a lot of crypto people can`t really understand.
The technology appears to be...
In my opinion a Toyota built by Toyota supra would have been a worse car overall. The B58 is the best mass produced 6 cylinder on the market in my opinion. Of course putting aside exotic or really high priced cars like the Ford GT or Porsche GT3.
But I think Toyota could have built a decent...
I owned performance cars from all different kinds of brands. I did own a E92 M3 back when they were selling new still.
To me the BMW thing with the Supra has zero effect. I love the style and performance of the car.
I am not sure how your 2.0L is packaged. But I was offered 45k (on vroom) base 2.0L with no options 43,xxx MSRP. Probably get even more money if you have the that tech package.
Plenty of people here who are changing oil every 3k miles with zero track days though. But hey its there money and time. I just find it funny.
Then I see my friend driving his McLaren every week and doing the bare minimum maintenance ?
Always funny when I hear people here (and other forums) changing oil so soon. This is a mass produced BMW engine that thousands of people around the world are using everyday with no long term problems.
Probably just a deposit with a dealership. If the car gets produced and the dealer gets one they will give it to him. Not something I would ever do lol.
You guys need to realize that a dealership has to follow guidelines to get paid on warranty work. So I can understand them not always wanting to go outside service intervals.
Pretty sure part of the paperwork you sign when you buy your car states this also. Of course if you have problems YOU can hire a lawyer.
I have actually been denied warranty work on a completely stock car (not my supra) because they said I abused the car. But they ended up fixing it after I...
