Sometimes it takes seeing it for yourself. Especially when youāre in your youth. I ran a Fox body Mustang in my first few autocross years. Had 17x9 wheels and thought bigger was better š. Ran 275/40/17 Hoosiers for two years before someone convinced me to try 245/45s because the sidewall is...
Can you mount it? Yes. Does it technically fit? Yes. Would it perform well in a competitive environment? No. Would 90% or more of the population even notice the difference. Probably not.
Hell, when I was a dumb 18 year old I convinced a tire shop to put a 255/60/15 snow tire on 7 inch...
Makes sense. Something like a window circuit could stay on but not consume power unless actually used. Seems logical at least. I donāt know enough about how electrical systems work to know with any confidence though.
According to the manual, page 40, when the car is in āidle stateā it is switched off and all power consumers are deactivated. Also on page 40, the āturn off after door openingā setting establishes idle state when the door is opened.
Does the always on fuse you tapped into power anything else...
Or you can change the settings to power off when the last door is closed. That may not be the exact terminology but itās something like that. We had tons of discussion about it years ago that can probably be easily found with a search. Or just use AI. š
Close one eye and squint and this one will look grey.

If the third time isnāt the charm then your only choice is to respond with your wallet. And let them know you purchased your last Toyota product. They likely wonāt give a shit but youāll maybe feel better.
Before retiring this year, I had a job where I put 30 to 35,000 miles a year on my DD...
Thought you were going to contact Toyota like I described previously? And what does couldnāt find the issue mean? Seems quite simple to me. Either the level check successfully completes or it doesnāt.
Sorry, no. Iām also going to list on autotrader. Iād rather sell as-is to someone like us who would get use out of the mods. If it sells through autotrader to someone who prefers stock or has no clue I may remove some of the parts.
Hi all,
itās time to prepare for next Spring. I retired this year and the Wife is teaching for one final school year. Next Spring weāll be picking up an RV and Iāll be buying a GR86 to pull on a trailer and autocross in as many states as I can over the next 5-6 years. Itās time to let the Supra...
I would go through your dealer and ask for goodwill warranty coverage first. While itās a very small percentage that are failing there are enough that Toyota knows thereās at least a small issue going on. Thereās also the fact that BMW subsequently replaced the plastic piece with metal which...
I have two extra sets. Going to put the car up for sale soon so I could sell one or both sets. They have well used track tires mounted and have tpms. I could meet you sometime in Morgantown, WV to save what would be expensive and difficult shipping. Send me a PM if interested.
