That isn't how they all are. The exact springs and strut power will affect if it shakes afterwards, you should see my stock car post somewhere in this thread with a good combo of springs and I get basically no rattle. Some people went with stronger setups because of wings, so if someone did the...
I reverted my sport+ and had the same concern, then was told that that's how it is stock, there is no regular sport, only sport individual. If that's not the case then I've been an idiot for a while now.
I'll happily eat my words in the future if more information comes up. So far this post has people reporting the same issue who already use a battery tender. At this point I'm going to assume this happened /now/ because of toyota draining the battery or similar when they were using scan tools...
It'll definitely be interesting to see what happens once I go back to having only this car as my daily driver, I put a lot of short trips on it with that parking mode configured but if it persists maybe I'll buy a maintainer
I mean the car isn't in scope for the brake recall.
I imagine even if it was in scope, toyota would have done it when I was there the last 3 times.
Is all this just pointing at my battery being low, and I should drive even longer than 30 mins or get one of the basic trickle maintainers from...
Easier said than done. I don't have a charger or maintainer, and I'm not going to buy one for a car under warranty that hasn't been driven in a couple days. I'll take it out for a spin soon anyways, worst case I jump the car.
Anyone successfully have wording for the dealer to get them to do it? Seems like it's an hour work for them which means they won't just do it as a favor. I have had throttle hesitation but dealers of course love reproducing the issue first.
I've got a dashcam hardwired w/ parking mode for 12h, but I've had that for a while.
My car just came back from the dealer recently, but they didn't need to do any coding to my knowledge. I have gotten the throttle hesitation issue once or twice before, should I take it to them and ask for the...
I've been doing a lot of short drives and some driveway moves lately, and I noticed I got a Yellow / Orange Wrench with the message "Start Engine Battery Management" when getting into the car but not starting it. I thought it was a low charge battery but the last drive I took with the car was 30...
Car has been naughty and needs that track spanking, checking with my group for an upcoming event Jan 15 / 16! Wish me luck, I'm concerned as I've gone off track a few times in my BRZ and everything Supra is much more expensive. I'll probably do sim time as well to hone basic countersteer
Update(s):
1. Whining on car braking, seems magically fixed, OR when the dealer put a seat module back where it belongs they fixed it? They haven't done anything to fix it but I haven't seen it in a while, maybe cold temperatures hide it and it'll come back next year.
2. Rattling from a...
This is actually the second dealer, I'm in a very populated area (Bay Area, CA) so maybe worst case I just drive another 20-30 mins for a different dealer.
Dealer claims they can't reproduce the brake whining noise... but I have a video of it:
Dealer claims they can't reproduce the sine wave noise.... but I have a video of it:
They gave me the car back and opened a TAS case which they say could take 3-5 days to get a response. I'm 99% sure I...
