As far as I was told, the new engine is based on the B58 with the necessary changes made to it. I would assume the engine shown in this prototype is the new engine.
So there's 3 engines then? Wouldn't that be counter productive in terms of costs? Designing a new engine specifically for the top spec. I'm really hoping this isn't just a B58
I totally understand what you're saying and it's a valid point. But Toyota has hardly divulged any information themselves and that's key here. I am also seeing alot more bmw than I'm comfortable with for example the interior. But if that means they spend more budget on what really matters then...
Feel like my brain has been defiled after reading this. As far as I can tell, 2 things were made very clear from the beginning regarding this vehicle. 1 is that it's a joint venture between the 2 brands and therefore it's likely to share alot with BMW. And 2 is that the vehicle evolved into...
Or a Corolla GT-Four. I personally don't think the market is big enough for an MR2 and an 86 to exist. I would have thought they would kill the 86 and have the 4cyl Supra take its place, then have an MR2 and a celica GT4 replacement which ideally would be the new corolla/auris. Also the next...
Now I have hope. No matter how bad the Supra interior will be, it can only get better than this. I hope they've managed to do away with the rubberised layers on top of all BMW switches and panels that eventually peel off and look horrible.
The front suspension alone on my car is well in excess of $2,500. It's utter madness but I suppose that's the price one pays for having an old car. I bought my car as a very low mileage example but still, age and the fact that it's been parked almost all it's life has needed replacing of alot of...
I've got a GT-Four ST205 and it's extremely difficult to get parts for it. Especially if you value keeping it all original which I have. Toyota has alot of parts still but many are discontinued. Some parts are also ridiculously expensive like suspension parts.
I quite like it. I think it would have looked nicer if it was in a straight line with the side skirts rather than pinching upwards but I suppose that had to be done for daily usability
