if true, im not surprised by this report. i think we all knew deep down inside the chances of FT1 using BMW's I6 was pretty high. but the purest kept hoping and paying for otherwise.
anyways, i would rather have a BMW I6 under the hood than the rumored 2.0 4 cylinder.

it says Lexus currently does not have access to the new platform, but it also says "we (Lexus) have access to everything which is Toyota". IMO it makes sense if Lexus gets one or two cars from this project. one larger to take on cars like the 6 series, SL/AMG GT, 911, and etc. and a smaller one...
thats the thing, everybody (media and fanboys) were making crap up / hoping for xyz.
all i know is that Tada san has said a 2nd gen is in the works and it will be different from the current model. makes sense IMO with the sub 86 car also in the works.

not the current 86. hopefully the next gen will have a bit more power. i believe Tada san said it will be a completely different animal from the current model.
