That’s where I have to praise the dealer I bought from. Got my car out of state in which they have front plates, my state does not. They did not drill any holes and actually put the plate holder in the trunk. Took me a while to figure out what it was when I found it.
Supposedly diminish engine noise, insulate for heat, things like that. How much to either of those I don’t know but I figure it would probably do at least a little of both. I’m looking more for the heat since I want to try some vinyl to make the red stripes we have on the stock cover.

Ha! No complaints about the Crosstrek either. She came from an Audi Q5 2.0 Premium Plus and likes the Crosstrek more. Her biggest reason is she likes how analog it is compared to the vast majority of vehicles nowadays. We’re old fashioned.
