I would have an issue with all the little stones they seem to like throwing all over the place for “traction.” Clearly these people have never heard of a gravel trap.
So it appears states have differing views on what they consider to be taxable property. Some states consider a vehicle taxable property, others don’t. For me only the house and the land it sits on is deemed taxable property. For a vehicle, $36 a year regardless of year, make, model, value, etc...
AWE S-flo will not work with the FTP inlet pipe as it requires the bottom part of the stock pipe. Kies Motorsports actually has a video where they installed the AWE and the car had the FTP pipe. They had to modify an MST inlet pipe to install the AWE intake.
Think I’m going to give this a shot. Wouldn’t be surprised if I could simply remove the existing horn from the bracket and replace it with the low tone version for the Z4. Sure I wouldn’t have a dual tone but this is better than the high pitch version we get.
AWE Foilers. Not exactly the prettiest things but just work so, so good and I feel look the closest to something that could have been there from the beginning. Maybe a little paint, clear coat, and some elbow grease will make them truly blend in.
Can’t answer your question specifically but I wouldn’t be surprised if they are in fact LEDs on a circuit board. If I’m correct on that you could change them, but it would require you to desolder the LEDs and solder on the new ones. Speaking from experience with a previous vehicle depending on...
I’m sure there’s a way to create a hyperlink from the Amazon app but I’m not sure how to do it. However, search “hypersonic edge guard” and they’ll show up.
Nope. Messers Harris and Metcalfe both mentioned using the PS4S specifically in the winter months in the UK. Hence my curiosity. I would expect an experience much like what you had when driving with them in that weather. Hell, the Super Sports on mine lit the traction light up when the outside...
Hope I’m not starting another topic here by asking this, but I’m intrigued about the PS4S in the cold weather. In the US they are deemed a summer tire yet I hear Chris Harris using them on his M2 CS and Harry Metcalfe using them on his Project 8 for the winter months. Are they a different...
I disagree. Having them I would say the time it takes is in fact longer than using a jack and stands. I got them because I’m lifting all four tires off the ground more often than only two so I was willing to deal with the longer set up time in exchange for the peace of mind of lifting it all...
There is a center jack point for both the front and the rear if you have a jack that will reach them and the space to do so. That way you can lift the whole front or whole rear and place the stands at the jack points you’re talking about. I’ve done the butt-puckering lift the other end while the...
Thanks for the feedback! I had put the ICONs up against a couple different sets from Michelin a few years ago and they were better back then as well. Bosch might have found the sweet spot that even they can’t really improve upon.
Yeesh, had no idea RainX was possibly so bad. Hell, first time I washed the car I removed all of the fluid that came in it and replaced it with the orange RainX. Looks like I’ll be doing that again come spring time. Going to check into using a dilution of McKee’s 37’s N-914. Speaking of cold...
Thanks! I was thinking if the trunk lights from the donor Supra work as footwell lights I was maybe going to install the new footwell lights behind the seats like what you had done. Might as well try to use them since I bought them.
