Looks great! Hey, can you post a side pic of your entire car? I'd like to see it with the stripes, rear spoiler, and blacked out wheels. I am considered those 3 but have not moved on any of them! Thanks!
Ditto! I had a 74 yellow Porsche 914 and a 2004 yellow GTO. I would have definitely considered the yellow Supra, but the dealer only had the gray. The lines sold me and I love it!
Welcome aboard! There is lots of good info throughout this sight. You'll spend lots of time and money, but thoroughly enjoy every minute of it. And Merry Christmas!
I agree with the stable mate concept. I have considered selling my 86 Plymouth Conquest and replacing it with the Type R for usability. Just having a hard time convincing myself to sell my Quest after all the time and money investing in restoring and updating it!
Add me to the list. Mine worked a week ago. Drove it last night and it initially said "function not available". Then tried it on the way home and Carplay had completely disappeared rom my display.
Its like Deja Vu! I ordered from Extreme Powerhouse back in September. I just canceled my order after over 2 months of waiting. I did find another (black) with Mod in Japan. Its supposed to be here 12/7. I wished I had looked around sooner. Good luck.
I'd have to confirm, but I think I used Detail Authority in Fairfax. I got the PPF, ceramic coating and my windows tinted. It wasn't cheap, and I have never had that done to any of my vehicles before, but I'd say they did a fantastic job.
Is the vent trim just a sticker or a cover? I ordered the complete CF piece so I need to pop off the original vent and insert the new CF one. I have yet to install it as I am unsure how to pop the original out. Do you have any thoughts/input on removing the vent trim piece? Thanks.
Not that the Z's steering wheel is any better, but I like the Z in the middle rather than our Toyota symbol. Has anyone come up with a solution/alternative on that for us?
You can fix a couple of those concerns with a brake pad swap (huge difference) and some coding (better stereo and turn off the auto stop/start feature). And even a new steering wheel if you want to go that far. It really makes it a fantastic car when you customize it exactly how you'd like it...
I concur. I had a couple of 914s and a Z3M convertible. The targa was so much better than the convertible IMO. But if the Supra was offered with a targa, I'd have to seriously consider it too.
