I had this happen shortly after I got my car. Just went to the dealer and they fixed it with Ista. Some “weird” value got stored in that parameter some how, they said. Been over 12000 miles never had the issue come back.
Yes you can change tuners. Once you find a new one, they will know how to go about it. Don’t think you need to do anything personally, maybe email Ecutek with your dongle id and new tuners name but that would be it.
Don’t have this exact one, but mine sits similarly. It’s been on the car over a year and I’ve never had any adhesive issues with countless washes and high speed runs.
